My Summertime Playlist for the Road!

Summer is almost over, but that doesn't mean your fun has to stop! Usually everyone's mood starts to crumble, around this time. Trust me, I know.  There's still time to go to the beach and enjoy. The best feeling is the sand in between your toes. But if you're not a fan of the sand or the beach, why not take one last road trip!  In my opinion a road trip is more affordable and you get the full experience. But like I said that's just me, everyone is different. The good thing about road trips are the fact that it doesn't have to last for days. If you don't have a car or you simply don't want to use your own, you can rent one.  I know you're probably saying, "duh" but this is different. You can rent a car from other people through Turo . I didn't think there was a site for people to that, but it's true. Turo is a car rental service that allows people to rent their cars to others. It's pretty simple; all you have to do is...

My #1 Favorite Track- Hello by Adele!

When I find a song I like, you better believe it will be play a thousand times! When Adele's "Hello" came out, everyone made a big deal out of it. To be honest I'm not surprised it was a hit! I love listening to her music, because I feel I can relate in some way.  After a couple of weeks I finally got around to listen to the song. It's brilliant! One of the things I like about Adele's music, is the fact that the words in her lyrics speak a truth we all know.  But with this song, I felt a certain way. It made me think. When you first listen to the song and maybe even watching the video, it could mislead you to believe its about a relationship between a man and a women. But according to an interview, it's more than that. The message I got from this song is that, at some point in time we drift away from people we were once close to. But I guess it's normal. Everyone starts to find their own path in life and sometimes it may not included people we ...

Songs that Inspire Me!

Everyone has their down day, I know I do. You feel sad and defeated and it's not a good feeling. You feel like you've failed. I've given up a few times, but I am lucky to have a mom and a sister that encourage me to keep trying. I love music, it's apart of my life. I listen to it everyday. I don't if anyone else feels this way, but I think music speaks to you through the lyrics. You're able to identify with the words and not feel like you're alone!   Before I share these 2 with you, I will say that these songs help me feel empowered and strong. Katy Perry is one of my favorite artists. Her songs Firework and Roar are very uplifting. They will cheer you up, when you are having a bad day and make you feel good inside! If you're having a bad day just know that "Baby you're a Firework"! If you're not feeling strong enough just "Roar" and say "I've the eye of a Tiger"! That was probably cheesy.   I...
