Wednesday's Health/Beauty Tips

This is the first post in my Wednesday's Health/Beauty Tips series! Everyone wants healthy looking hair and skin, I know I do. Doing research and using my common sense, I came up with some tips that will help you and me! Before I continue I will say that there are a lot of people who do not take supplements and that is fine. Supplements are just a boost, their are plenty of foods that have what you need. The only supplement I have used is Biotin.

For healthy looking skin and hair here's a few tips:
-Make Protein apart of your life! Protein are in a lot of foods like poultry (chicken, turkey, etc...), eggs, fish, and nuts. "When your body doesn't get enough protein, it preserves existing protein by shifting hair growth into the resting phase, which halts growth and results in noticeable hair loss".

For more information here's the link.

-Make you consume Biotin! Biotin is especially good for hair, skin, and even nails. This vitamin keeps your hair healthy and strong. Even though we know it as Biotin, it is also known as Vitamin H. Biotin can be found in cheddar cheese, whole grains, almonds, pork, beans, and salmon.
Here's the link for more information.

-Drink lots and lots of Water! We all should know water is good for us. It also keeps our bodies hydrated! Water keeps your skin clear and fresh. "Not only skin, but even, our hair is made up 5% of water and 95% protein. So, to keep hair in a beautiful condition, you need to drink lots and lots of water. It will keep your hair alive and bouncy. Not only that, water stimulates hair growth. If you are facing hair loss, try adjusting the levels of water in your body and you may experience a miracle." I quoted this information about water and it came from this link.

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

Color Theory:8 Piece Ultimate Eyeliner Set

I love Eyeliner; eyeliner is my go to look. Anytime I had eyeliner my eyes would look like their dressed up! The only eyeliner I have ever wore up until this point was black; because that was the only color I thought was out (crazy of me right?!) Anyway lately I've seen many girls wear different color eyeliner, mainly on YouTube; so I knew immediately I would have to try it. After a while I forgot all about them, until Christmas of 2012 when I received them. I was so excited because my Mom didn't even know I wanted them; now that I am thinking I didn't even ask!  Now I can match up the colors with eyeshadow. Enough of that here's the box they came in and I have the colors listed below. On the back it just talks about the different styles you can do with the eyeliners. For example: The famous winged look (instructions for it are on the back).                                ...

Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about. I was holding myself back because I put a label on myself, wanting to be known as a beauty blogger. Sure I attached the lifestyle part, but honestly I don’t really know what that means.  During this year I had time to reflect on where I wanted my blog to go and whether I even wanted to write anymore. Honestly the motivation to blog was not there at all and at that time, I really didn’t care if I continued. I did not want to look at my blog or deal with it. For me I was tired of putting in the work and not getting anything in return. Meaning no ...
