Part 2: Advice For High school kids

In my previous post Part 1: My High School Experience I wrote about my experience in high school and I decided to make a part two. This post is really just about my advice for kids entering high school or already in. I know everyone will have different experiences, but I feel like maybe this will help someone.

* Friends are not everything, if they're not your true friends.

You want friends that are honest and trustworthy.
You do not need a lot of friends.
Not everyone is your real friend.
Remember it's better to have a few friends you can trust, rather than having a lot of friends and not being able to trust them.

*Peer pressure is toxic.

If they are not your real friends, they will not force you to do something you don't want to do.
Do not fall under peer pressure, just to fit in.
People are testing you when you're being pressured, remember that. If you say no to something you passed the test for yourself.

*Be yourself.

You do not have to pretend to be someone else just to fit in.
If people can't accept you for who you are, then at least you're being true to yourself.
Being yourself makes you unique and special.

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. I love Eyeliner; eyeliner is my go to look. Anytime I had eyeliner my eyes would look like their dressed up! The only eyeliner I have ever wore up until this point was black; because that was the only color I thought was out (crazy of me right?!) Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about.
