Amara Organics Skincare Review + Giveaway!

If you knew me, you would realize that I don't really know anything about skin care or having a routine at that. The only skin care routine I had was washing my face and then putting a good lotion/ moisturizer on. Is that bad? So when I received the opportunity of reviewing Amara Organics skin care products I decided to go for it. I have never really tried any skin care products so this was really exciting for me. I have learned new things during this experience and I am excited to share these products with you. So keep reading for more information and stay tuned for the giveaway.

The Amara Organics Skincare line is safe for all skin types and conditions. If you suffer from dry/ irritated skin, acne, and eczema don't worry you can still use these products. It does not contain parabens or alcohol. One of the best parts about these products, is that it won't clog your pores. These products are natural, vegan, and cruelty free. Most importantly these are not tested on animals.

Total Repair Eye Gel:
The eye gel helps you feel more awake and left feeling refreshed. This is used to help you get rid of dark circles, puffiness, bags and sagging, as well as crows feet. So far the eye gel absorbs into my skin pretty quickly. It does not dry as fast as the Hyaluronic Acid Serum. But that's ok. When I pump this out it look like it would be a thick consistency, but it's not at all. Which is a good thing. The dark circles under my eye is getting clearer. The only thing I don't really like about it this at the moment is the sticky feeling that's left on my hands.

Retinol Serum:
The retinol serum is an effective acne treatment. It helps to unclog the pores in your skin, which will clear up any blemishes, and reduce blackheads. This helps to prevent future breakouts by preventing dead skin cells from clogging the pores. This will also clear brown spots and discoloration of the skin. Right now I am experiencing blemishes and breakouts, so this could not have come at a better time. I have only used this for a little while, but I do see some results. My blemishes are starting clear. As I keep using I am sure I will see full results.

Hyaluronic Acid Serum:
Infused with Vitamins C & E, this will protect the skin and reverse signs of aging. This is used to hydrate the skin reducing fine lines and wrinkles. This product is also used to lock in moisture to achieve a dewy glow. This helps your skin become smooth and soft, for an even skin tone. I really like this product a lot. It absorbs in my skin quickly and it does not leave my skin feeling greasy or sticky. My face looks more moisturized and hydrated and it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about. I was holding myself back because I put a label on myself, wanting to be known as a beauty blogger. Sure I attached the lifestyle part, but honestly I don’t really know what that means.  During this year I had time to reflect on where I wanted my blog to go and whether I even wanted to write anymore. Honestly the motivation to blog was not there at all and at that time, I really didn’t care if I continued. I did not want to look at my blog or deal with it. For me I was tired of putting in the work and not getting anything in return. Meaning no ...

Color Theory:8 Piece Ultimate Eyeliner Set

I love Eyeliner; eyeliner is my go to look. Anytime I had eyeliner my eyes would look like their dressed up! The only eyeliner I have ever wore up until this point was black; because that was the only color I thought was out (crazy of me right?!) Anyway lately I've seen many girls wear different color eyeliner, mainly on YouTube; so I knew immediately I would have to try it. After a while I forgot all about them, until Christmas of 2012 when I received them. I was so excited because my Mom didn't even know I wanted them; now that I am thinking I didn't even ask!  Now I can match up the colors with eyeshadow. Enough of that here's the box they came in and I have the colors listed below. On the back it just talks about the different styles you can do with the eyeliners. For example: The famous winged look (instructions for it are on the back).                                ...
