Goals for June I Want To Accomplish!

It's always good to set goals for yourself. Goals keep you focused, organized, and they remind you of things you have to do. So here's a short and simple post of goals I will like to accomplish for the month of June!

Stay Productive: I am proud of myself. So far I've been really productive when it comes to blogging. I have been really consistent this year and I am feeling accomplished.

Continuing Blogging about what I enjoy: I feel like this has been a great blogging year for me. I really do feel conscious about what I blog. I want to write more recipe post, the lighting is not the best. I am definitely working on it though.

Make more blogging friends: The blogging community is really great, I don't feel like an outsider anymore (Something that I used to feel). I have made some really good friends from blogging, that's a positive outcome for me. I hope to continue making friends.

Do more DIYs: I love DIYs, their great and it's much more cheaper to make certain things like scrubs, makeup holders, ect...) than regular products. I have made a body scrub on my blog before here: Scrub. I want to start making more!

I want to make my own Makeup/Nail Polish line: This is going to be a work in progress for me, but I am up for the challenge. I have no idea where to start though.

Collaborate with other Bloggers: I've done collaborations before and I think it's great. You get to meet bloggers and create friendships. You also share interests you both may have. I would like to do more!

These are some of my goals for June, although they do make sense for all year long though! What are some of your goals you want to accomplish (monthly, weekly, or daily)?

  3. Great set of goals! Making more blogger friends and doing more collaborations are both on my list of goals. I really love reading these kinds of posts and I think I'll start doing these monthly! One of my biggest goals for the month is to organize my bedroom!

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

Is there a guide to blogging?

It's been 3 months since I started blogging and I already have 57 followers and I am so grateful and thankful. In a million years I would have never imagined being a blogger. But sometimes I do not feel like one. I mean I know being a successful and known blogger doesn't happen overnight, but sometimes I get discouraged. I have always been someone who is cautious and worries about what people think, so sometimes I feel no one will like what I post. I also feel like, because I am not a well known blogger no one will take the time and give me a chance. I am just being myself, is there something wrong with that? So I started feeling lost and I didn't know what to do; then I thought "Is there a guide to blogging?". Not only did I have these thoughts, but I was also thinking that there are so many wonderful bloggers (beauty, fashion, and lifestyle), so who would even notice my blog. So is there a book to teach people how to blog or am I just overreacting? Sometim...

Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about. I was holding myself back because I put a label on myself, wanting to be known as a beauty blogger. Sure I attached the lifestyle part, but honestly I don’t really know what that means.  During this year I had time to reflect on where I wanted my blog to go and whether I even wanted to write anymore. Honestly the motivation to blog was not there at all and at that time, I really didn’t care if I continued. I did not want to look at my blog or deal with it. For me I was tired of putting in the work and not getting anything in return. Meaning no ...
