It's That Time of the Month!

All of us girls know about that "Time of the Month" phase. Dealing with cramps, headaches, toothaches, and feeling bloated. Maybe it's just me but these are all of the things I deal with before the time of the month. These are my "warning signs". Even worse let's not forget about: pimples, blemishes, or whatever you want to call it. During this time I feel disgusting and it's annoying. But that's what girls through. If guys only knew right! When the time of the month comes, it's rough in the first couple of days for me. It's hard to get out of bed and I don't like feeling cold. But it's not all bad, I have cravings when the time comes. I guess that is my excuse because,  I LOVE CHOCOLATE!

Through the years I've learned some ways to help sooth cramps, while having your period. So I am going to share them with you.

These are ways I help lessen the pain.
1. Eating saltine cracker. I know what you're thinking, but they really do help. I remember when I was in high school, this girl told me about this.
2. Drinking tea. Tea helps things like a sore throat, a cold, and cramps.
3. Exercise. Any form of it is good, but I wouldn't recommend going overboard. You can ride a bike, you can do yoga, or dance. I like to dance, but not too much. I remember in school, I didn't want to do gym that day, but my gym teacher said as soon as I start playing my stomach would feel better. I guess she as right.
4. Relax. Relaxing is something you should do while experiencing that time, whether it's reading your favorite magazine, eating ice, or binge watching your favorite show.

I also found a period tracker. I am unsure whether it's consistent, but it definitely predicted this time of the month. This is the link to the app I use, it's only the free version but you can buy the full here: Menstruation and Ovulation Calendar - Menstrual Period Tracker. They have a lot of information for you. It tells you when your best days for ovulation are, according to circles (1,2,or 3). I think the circles have something to do with your chances of getting pregnant. So far I like this app, so be sure to checkout the link above, if you want to take a peek. This is what some of the app looks like.

Things that annoy me when it's that time of the month.
-They look at you funny or they stay away from you because you're dealing with the case of "PMS"
- "Oh, she's on period, that's why she's angry".
- "Are you on your you know what, because your snapping at me?".
-"Is it that time of the month for you?.

Things you have to be careful with, during that time
- The type of clothes you wear. I wear dark jeans, when I go through this.

I feel like people exaggerate when someone is going through this. It's like, we're not crazy and we're  not some emotional unstable creatures. Hello, we are people too.

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

Color Theory:8 Piece Ultimate Eyeliner Set

I love Eyeliner; eyeliner is my go to look. Anytime I had eyeliner my eyes would look like their dressed up! The only eyeliner I have ever wore up until this point was black; because that was the only color I thought was out (crazy of me right?!) Anyway lately I've seen many girls wear different color eyeliner, mainly on YouTube; so I knew immediately I would have to try it. After a while I forgot all about them, until Christmas of 2012 when I received them. I was so excited because my Mom didn't even know I wanted them; now that I am thinking I didn't even ask!  Now I can match up the colors with eyeshadow. Enough of that here's the box they came in and I have the colors listed below. On the back it just talks about the different styles you can do with the eyeliners. For example: The famous winged look (instructions for it are on the back).                                ...

Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about. I was holding myself back because I put a label on myself, wanting to be known as a beauty blogger. Sure I attached the lifestyle part, but honestly I don’t really know what that means.  During this year I had time to reflect on where I wanted my blog to go and whether I even wanted to write anymore. Honestly the motivation to blog was not there at all and at that time, I really didn’t care if I continued. I did not want to look at my blog or deal with it. For me I was tired of putting in the work and not getting anything in return. Meaning no ...
