*Elf Haul/ First Impressions*

About a week ago, I purchased a few things from elf cosmetics and I am excited to share them with you! I really like shopping at elf because their products are so affordable. Some people think that if something is at a cheaper price, it's not a good product. But that is not true at all, elf products are of good quality and lasts long! When I brought these products, it was a free shipping/ no minimum price deal. All together these products costs $10, you can't get any better than that!

Brightening Eyeliner Pencil (Plum)
I love wearing eyeliner, it gives my eyes that pop of color I for them to stand out. This is a beautiful plum color, that's pigmented and great for fall! One thing I really love about this eyeliner, is the fact that it comes with a sharpener. This brightening eyeliner is supposed to glide on without tugging. It is also suppose to instantly brighten and define the eye. I definitely recommend this eyeliner, it's so pretty and it is very easy to apply.

Lip Exfoliator
A while back I posted a quick and easy recipe for my "DIY exfoliator". It's cheaper and great to make, plus it can be used to exfoliate the whole body and the face! Recently I've been curious to try a lip exfoliator from the store. I was a little skeptical on whether or not it would really work. But I purchased it anyway. This exfoliator is supposed to, gently exfoliate the lips to remove dry chapped skin with a sugary sweet and smoothing sensation. It also treats and smoothes lips for a conditioned and revitalized feel. Infused with Vitamin E, Shea butter, Avocado, Grape, and Jojoba oil to nourish and protect. I must say that this lip exfoliator is good and it actually works. While applying I felt my lips being moisturized at the same time. I like how the ingredients are natural and it's great for your skin.

Precision Liquid Eyeliner
Believe it or not, but I've never tried a liquid eyeliner before. I'm a little embarrassed to say this, but it's true! I found this liquid eyeliner and I knew it was meant to be, so I thought. The precision eyeliner is supposed to be a long lasting formula and pigment rich color, glides on for defined lines. One thing I must say is that it is very pigmented. Since this is my first time wearing a liquid eyeliner, this experience was not the best. I probably applied the eyeliner wrong, so it might not have been the eyeliner itself. When first applying it, I put on my water line. I guess because it's liquid the eyeliner went into my eye. But I am going to try it again and see how I feel.

Lip Primer & Plumper
I am not the type of person who is really into wearing lipstick. I've just always worn clear lip gloss and lip balm. But lately I've been really interested in trying new things. I've been inspired while watching YouTube videos and reading blogs, to expand my beauty collection! So while trying out different lipsticks, I notice that when I take it off my lips are stained. After that experience, I decided to purchase a lip primer. Attached to this primer is a lip plumper on the other end. I will not be using the plumper, because m lips are already full. The elf lip primer and plumper are supposed to achieve long lasting lip color and sexy plumped lips. The primer creates a base for lip color, that is supposed to last all day. The plumper enhances your lips with a seductive sweet cinnamon scent. Again I do not need to use the plumper, so I can't really say whether it works or not. But what I can tell you is that, the primer is definitely worth it. It applies on easy and lip color definitely stands out. My lip color last for hours and I was very impressed!

If you try or have tried these products before, let me know!

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

Is there a guide to blogging?

It's been 3 months since I started blogging and I already have 57 followers and I am so grateful and thankful. In a million years I would have never imagined being a blogger. But sometimes I do not feel like one. I mean I know being a successful and known blogger doesn't happen overnight, but sometimes I get discouraged. I have always been someone who is cautious and worries about what people think, so sometimes I feel no one will like what I post. I also feel like, because I am not a well known blogger no one will take the time and give me a chance. I am just being myself, is there something wrong with that? So I started feeling lost and I didn't know what to do; then I thought "Is there a guide to blogging?". Not only did I have these thoughts, but I was also thinking that there are so many wonderful bloggers (beauty, fashion, and lifestyle), so who would even notice my blog. So is there a book to teach people how to blog or am I just overreacting? Sometim...

Color Theory:8 Piece Ultimate Eyeliner Set

I love Eyeliner; eyeliner is my go to look. Anytime I had eyeliner my eyes would look like their dressed up! The only eyeliner I have ever wore up until this point was black; because that was the only color I thought was out (crazy of me right?!) Anyway lately I've seen many girls wear different color eyeliner, mainly on YouTube; so I knew immediately I would have to try it. After a while I forgot all about them, until Christmas of 2012 when I received them. I was so excited because my Mom didn't even know I wanted them; now that I am thinking I didn't even ask!  Now I can match up the colors with eyeshadow. Enough of that here's the box they came in and I have the colors listed below. On the back it just talks about the different styles you can do with the eyeliners. For example: The famous winged look (instructions for it are on the back).                                ...
