Indy Luxe Rainbow Brush Set

When it comes to buying all the latest makeup products or tools and accessories, I'm the total opposite. Sorry but I'm not really much of a risk taker, except when it comes to hair products! But there is something I love almost as much and that's makeup brushes. It's the most important part to applying makeup.

For me  It's hard to find a good brush set and I'm a very picky person. I like to play it safe with brands I'm use to buying from. Until recently I decided to step outside the box and try something new. For a while now I've been trying to use more cruelty free products. That's when I saw a lot of people talking about Indy Luxe on social media. I knew I had to check them out and I'm glad I did!

Indy Luxe is an online Vegan and Cruelty Free company and their brushes are gorgeous. When they introduced this rainbow collection, I knew I had to buy them. These brushes are just as beautiful in person as they are online. This is a seven piece brush set that can be used for the face and the eyes. The brushes are rainbow soft synthetic fibers. When applying these brushes it doesn't leave a harsh feeling on my skin, like other brushes I've used. The rainbow hexagonal prism handles give me a good grip while using. If you're into a good highlight on the cheekbones I recommend using the orange fan brush. The eyeshadow brushes are my favorite, just because I focus on my eyes the most. These brushes on gentle on the skin and I didn't experience redness. The three bigger brushes can be used for applying powder, bronzer, and blending!

If you want to own this gorgeous rainbow brush set it £24 in UK and about $30.93 in US. You can use my code PIECESOFASHLEY20 for 20% off!

*I purchased this brush with my own money, however I received a discount. Affiliate code is included in this post.  Every time my code is used I will receive 5% commission.

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

Color Theory:8 Piece Ultimate Eyeliner Set

I love Eyeliner; eyeliner is my go to look. Anytime I had eyeliner my eyes would look like their dressed up! The only eyeliner I have ever wore up until this point was black; because that was the only color I thought was out (crazy of me right?!) Anyway lately I've seen many girls wear different color eyeliner, mainly on YouTube; so I knew immediately I would have to try it. After a while I forgot all about them, until Christmas of 2012 when I received them. I was so excited because my Mom didn't even know I wanted them; now that I am thinking I didn't even ask!  Now I can match up the colors with eyeshadow. Enough of that here's the box they came in and I have the colors listed below. On the back it just talks about the different styles you can do with the eyeliners. For example: The famous winged look (instructions for it are on the back).                                ...

Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about. I was holding myself back because I put a label on myself, wanting to be known as a beauty blogger. Sure I attached the lifestyle part, but honestly I don’t really know what that means.  During this year I had time to reflect on where I wanted my blog to go and whether I even wanted to write anymore. Honestly the motivation to blog was not there at all and at that time, I really didn’t care if I continued. I did not want to look at my blog or deal with it. For me I was tired of putting in the work and not getting anything in return. Meaning no ...
