3 Instagram Accounts That Inspire!

A lot of people talk about the negative side of Instagram, but maybe you’re just looking in the wrong places. Do not get me wrong, I see the negatives on Instagram sometimes but I know it’s not all bad. A lot of times you may have to search for positive people and or posts. While on Instagram I find that three accounts always get me inspired when I’m just not feeling the best. So I decided to share them with you.

Mimi Ikonn
I’ve been following Mimi for some years now on Instagram. She co-founded Luxy Hair with her sister Leyla years ago. But now she and her sister have moved on to new chapters in their lives. But anyway if you’re ever feeling down, just go to her account and you will be left feeling more positive. She is so inspiring and encouraging to others and gives you a different perspective on life you may not have known. Her words of wisdom helps you become more motivated to take on the world, it is refreshing. Yesterday she started the #mimisquatchallenge. So basically if you want to join, you’ll be doing 100 squats a day for this month. I decided to join in and these squats kicked my but, when I was finished I felt good about it!

Denise Vasi
Denise is someone who is a positive person while keeping it 100% real. Although I do not know her personally she seems down to earth. Her Instagram/ stories are always filled with knowledge and I constantly learn something new. I’m always trying to better myself health wise and as a person. If you ever want to change your life into something positive or taking it to the next level, check out her Instagram and website!

RenĂ© Daniella
In the beginning I started following RenĂ© because we are both natural curly hair gals! But during the past couple of years, it ended up being more than wanting hair tips. From watching her Instagram stories and following her account, I find myself wanting to take more risks and getting out of my safe zone. I also started changing some of the foods I put into my body. I realize that change is good! I also want to travel in the future. She travels a lot and it’s made me realize there’s so much in the world I want to see and experience.

I hope you enjoyed reading my post. If you need daily motivation or today is not the best, I recommend going to these Instagram accounts!

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about. I was holding myself back because I put a label on myself, wanting to be known as a beauty blogger. Sure I attached the lifestyle part, but honestly I don’t really know what that means.  During this year I had time to reflect on where I wanted my blog to go and whether I even wanted to write anymore. Honestly the motivation to blog was not there at all and at that time, I really didn’t care if I continued. I did not want to look at my blog or deal with it. For me I was tired of putting in the work and not getting anything in return. Meaning no ...
