Just because an introvert is at home chilling does not mean that they don’t have friends. Understand that we’re content with staying home on a Saturday night binge watching Netflix and eating a tub of ice cream. There’s a difference between taking care of yourself and being selfish. A lot of people are confused by the two, so here’s why these are not the same things. When you take care of yourself: you are focusing on your health, mind, body and spirit. You are finding your happiness and improving your well being and lifestyle. You surround yourself with positive people. When you are selfish, you mainly think about you and no one else. The only person you’re concerned with is you and taking peoples feelings into thought and consideration is not on your list. Now that I have explained these meanings, the next time you want to take care of yourself remember that’s not being selfish.  Everyone needs to start practicing self care. Remembering that you are a person and your feelings matter is apart of self care. Skincare is so important, it starts on the inside of your body but using products do help. I struggle forming a skincare routine, I just like trying out different products. But as I am getting older I realize I need to start getting one together. I hope I’m not the only one who doesn’t follow a regimen. One product I love are facial masks.  Most recently I have tried Freeman’s Avocado and Oatmeal Clay Mask. I love using freeman masks, it’s relaxing and perfect for a spa day at home. I don’t really use clay masks often, the last time I used one was a couple of years ago. I wasn’t really a fan of them because the texture is thick and product itself feels a little heavy on my skin. But I guess because it’s clay. So I was not sure how I would feel trying this one out, but I was actually surprised I liked it! Shea Moisture was the first hair care line I tried when I went natural. It’s the one I always come back to. There are other products I like to use, but this brand is by far my favorite one.  I’ve heard that you are suppose to switch up  products because your hair get use to them. Blogging has taught me so much over the years, but two things have stuck out to me the most. The first thing is confidence. I struggled with my self esteem, but blogging has since boosted my confidence. Writing has made me feel important and I am proud of myself. The second thing is very important, this platform gives you a chance to show everyone who you are and what interests you. You might say why is this an important factor when blogging. I’ll tell you why if you’re a shy person like me, sometimes expressing how you feel and showing people what you like is hard to do in person. So having a diary on the internet gives people an idea of who you are. The cool thing about it is that you find others who enjoy some of the same things as you do. For the last few years I have stopped making new year’s resolution. In my opinion it never works out, well at least for me. You make so many plans but they don’t last. So I started saying I just want to be the best version of myself. I also decided to write down goals I want to accomplish. This is something I did not think I would ever say. Making lists hasn’t really helped me in the past, but last November for the holidays it actually worked out.   When it comes to hair dryers I haven't had the best of luck in the past. The dryer either broke as soon as I bought it or made my hair frizzier. I instantly gave up on finding a dryer that would suit all of my hair needs. With the increase in price for hair dryers you have to decide whether you spend a lot of money or continue air drying!   I’m a very picky person when it comes to watching movies and tv shows. I want to be intrigued right away. That’s probably a lot to ask for but it’s almost the only way to grab my attention.   Social media is great for networking,  meeting people, sharing your unpopular opinions, promoting yourself and creating friendships. Well those are the great things about social media and the downside is cringeworthy. But with every positive, comes a negative right?  To Follow Or Not To Follow Have you ever been followed by someone, only to have them unfollow you minutes after?   At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that.
