Summer Nail Polish

In every nail post, I write about how obsessed I am with polish. My favorite brand is NYC (New York Color). I am not affiliated with them in any way. Their polish just works for me and it lasts me a week. I do not base my polish on the seasons, it really doesn't matter to me. I guess it just depends on my mood! But a lot of these colors, if not all go great for the Summer. Some of these Polishes look different, that's because they are. Some of them are quick dry (In a Minute) polish. They dry really fast in about 5 to 6 minutes. The others dry between 8 to 12 minutes. I got these at Walmart for under $2!

These pink polishes are so pretty. If you want a simple polish look the light pink (Upper West Side) is perfect. This one is my top favorite! The others are not simple at all. But I love Fuchsia Shock and Pink Promenade. They are worth the try.

These Reds are stunning. I am obsessed with Times Square! I have not tried Big Apple Red, but I know it's a beautiful color.

These colors are ones that I do not usually wear. So this is my first time experimenting with them. I have tried High Line Green and I was really impressed. I am so glad I decided to purchase it. The Midtown Mimosa is a pretty yellow, but I only tried it on one finger. Disco Inferno is something completely new to me. It can turn any plain nail into a beautiful sparkle.

I hope you enjoyed reading! What are your favorite polishes to wear for the Summer?

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

My Top 5 Current Beauty Favorites!

I'm not one who has a lot of favorite products, but when I do it's worth sharing. Call me boring, but I'm someone who follows all the trends. Half of the time I don't even buy products that are "most known" or "popular". At the moment I have a handful of products I'm really loving. I'm a picky person when it comes to a lot of things, but these products are great to use. If you are on a budget these products are very affordable and they definitely don't disappoint!   Swissco Detangle Brush I love this detangler brush, it works great on my hair. Although I found this at Marshalls you can find online as well. Both prices are $6! That's very affordable in my opinion, compared to brushes that cost double. You can use this on wet and dry hair. I've tried both and it works very good. When it's time to twist or braid my hair I will use this brush. Most importantly I will use this brush before washing my hair and during th...

E.l.f. Eye Brushes

Although this haul is very small, I just wanted to share with you what I brought. I decided to buy brushes, because I needed them more! The first brushes I were eco-friendly and were really good, but their were more face brushes, then eye brushes. So that wasn't really helpful to me. It was only one eye shadow brush. I rarely shop online, I always go to the store. But I was bored one day and I guess this is what happened! I am really excited to try these brushes! I also brought some things from BH cosmetics, but that's for another post! Eye Shadow Brush The eye shadow brush is supposed to help apply the eye shadow evenly and make it easier. This sounds good, because the brushes I used in the past were tough and hard. It seemed like I had to put a lot of eye shadow on, before it actually showed up on my eyes. Blending Eye Brush This brush is supposed to blend the eye shadows, while softening dramatic edges and lines. This is really good, because before I h...
