Freeman Facial Masks

For a couple of months, I've been into face masks. They leave my skin feeling great. At Walmart they have samples of these masks and I definitely took advantage of this. Mainly because this gives me an opportunity to try the mask out, before purchasing the full size. These sample packets only cost about $1.37. I only got these, because they seemed the most interesting. These masks are also good for all skin types! Another important thing about these masks is that, it is not tested on animals an does not include parabens. I do not know much about parabens, except that they can cause irritation to the skin.

The Pomegranate peel-off mask refines and purifies the skin. It gently purges dirt and excess oils from the skin, for a cleaner refined surface. As an 8 antioxidant infused with: Acai, Goji, Mango, Mangosteen, Cranberry, Noni, Pomegranate, and Blueberry. These guard the skin, against free radicals and environmental stress. It says that this package contains up to, 2 to 4 applications. I would have to disagree, for me it was only a 1 time use. When I opened the package the color was a light purple color, but when applied to the skin it was clear. The product is sticky, but it washes off of the hands easily. I like how it's easy to apply to my face. After 5 to 10 minutes, I peel off the mask and I rinse my face off with warm water. In the end my face feels soft, most importantly it's refreshed and hydrated! Overall, I loved the Pomegranate Peel- Off mask.

Unlike the Pomegranate peel-off mask, I did not want to try this next mask. I read the warning signs and I was too nervous about it. The Banana- Oat Instant Smoothing Mask, is an exfoliating smoothie for radiant skin. When I first saw this I was excited to try it out, until I saw the warnings. Prior to first application, perform a patch test on the inside of your arm, 24 hours prior to applying to your face to check for potential irritation. So I did the patch test earlier around 10:30 in the morning, so it hasn't been 24 hours for me yet.

During this time I was hesitant about trying this out. I also read on the back that you can't use this on skin that is sunburned, irritated, sensitive, or within 24 hours of waxing. It's not recommended for users of any topical or orally- or prescribed acne, Vitamin A derived, skin exfoliation medication. Slight tingling, mild itching or some temporary skin redness are normal reactions to a highly active exfoliate. This gave me relief, but I am still uncomfortable with using it. This mask contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids, which rapidly exfoliates dull skin cells. That great that it exfoliated dull skin cells, but these acids may increase skin's sensitivity to the sun and possibly sunburn. You have to use sunscreen and limit sun exposure a week after use. This is why I will not be using this mask, unfortunately because I thought it sounded great. You can use this, but I just wanted to let you know if you did try this.

I hope you enjoyed reading and let me know what facial masks you like to pamper yourself with!

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about. I was holding myself back because I put a label on myself, wanting to be known as a beauty blogger. Sure I attached the lifestyle part, but honestly I don’t really know what that means.  During this year I had time to reflect on where I wanted my blog to go and whether I even wanted to write anymore. Honestly the motivation to blog was not there at all and at that time, I really didn’t care if I continued. I did not want to look at my blog or deal with it. For me I was tired of putting in the work and not getting anything in return. Meaning no ...

Color Theory:8 Piece Ultimate Eyeliner Set

I love Eyeliner; eyeliner is my go to look. Anytime I had eyeliner my eyes would look like their dressed up! The only eyeliner I have ever wore up until this point was black; because that was the only color I thought was out (crazy of me right?!) Anyway lately I've seen many girls wear different color eyeliner, mainly on YouTube; so I knew immediately I would have to try it. After a while I forgot all about them, until Christmas of 2012 when I received them. I was so excited because my Mom didn't even know I wanted them; now that I am thinking I didn't even ask!  Now I can match up the colors with eyeshadow. Enough of that here's the box they came in and I have the colors listed below. On the back it just talks about the different styles you can do with the eyeliners. For example: The famous winged look (instructions for it are on the back).                                ...
