Blogmas Day 10: Winter Hair Care Products!

Although my hair is a lot healthier compared to a couple of years ago, I have to keep it up. With that being it can be difficult keeping my hair in tact during the weather changes. I've heard that when you're hair starts looking dull, it's because you've been using the same products for too long. I didn't believe that until it happened to me. It's important to switch up your hair routine and that's exactly what I do. In this post I'm just going to talk about the products I've been using lately. I will have an updated version of my hair care routine soon, but for now checkout my older post on it!

Besides Shea Moisture hair products, I have grown to love the natural hair care brand Cantu. These products are great to use on your natural hair journey. But if you're transitioning, you can still use this too. The Cantu products I'm talking about are ones that I've gradually brought from Walmart. But you can obviously buy these elsewhere. This line of products are free of sulfates, silicones, parabens or mineral oils. These products are made with 100% pure Shea butter this is formulated without any harsh ingredients. Cantu restores your curly, kinky, or wavy hair.

All of the Cantu protects have the same purpose, which is to protect your hair and repair it from the damage it has gone through. I don't use all of these products when I wash my hair and style it. I like to switch it up and do something different. The only steps that stay the same are the first four products. However if my hair is really tangled together, I will use the "Cantu Shea Butter Coil Calm Detangler". Surprisingly this detangler spray really works.  I have a description of all the products listed below. A lot of information is repetitive, so I apologize for that but it's because these products are from the same brand.

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

Is there a guide to blogging?

It's been 3 months since I started blogging and I already have 57 followers and I am so grateful and thankful. In a million years I would have never imagined being a blogger. But sometimes I do not feel like one. I mean I know being a successful and known blogger doesn't happen overnight, but sometimes I get discouraged. I have always been someone who is cautious and worries about what people think, so sometimes I feel no one will like what I post. I also feel like, because I am not a well known blogger no one will take the time and give me a chance. I am just being myself, is there something wrong with that? So I started feeling lost and I didn't know what to do; then I thought "Is there a guide to blogging?". Not only did I have these thoughts, but I was also thinking that there are so many wonderful bloggers (beauty, fashion, and lifestyle), so who would even notice my blog. So is there a book to teach people how to blog or am I just overreacting? Sometim...

Color Theory:8 Piece Ultimate Eyeliner Set

I love Eyeliner; eyeliner is my go to look. Anytime I had eyeliner my eyes would look like their dressed up! The only eyeliner I have ever wore up until this point was black; because that was the only color I thought was out (crazy of me right?!) Anyway lately I've seen many girls wear different color eyeliner, mainly on YouTube; so I knew immediately I would have to try it. After a while I forgot all about them, until Christmas of 2012 when I received them. I was so excited because my Mom didn't even know I wanted them; now that I am thinking I didn't even ask!  Now I can match up the colors with eyeshadow. Enough of that here's the box they came in and I have the colors listed below. On the back it just talks about the different styles you can do with the eyeliners. For example: The famous winged look (instructions for it are on the back).                                ...
