Staying Positive Throughout The Year

Whether you're stressing out or feeling down, it's important to stay positive throughout the year. I know when I'm stress, I get really anxious. Then my whole mood gets ruined and I get upset. But whether you have anxiety or not stress happens to everyone. At least that's what I thought. So I decided to share some ways to help stay positive and experience less stress for the year. These are things that help me and hopefully they help you too. Now I've mentioned some of these in other posts, but that just shows how much I find these ways a must try.

Writing In A Journal
Writing has become a habit that I've enjoyed. This blog has helped me become a better writer. If you don't blog, writing in a journal is just as good. I remember when I was younger I used to have so many diaries. Especially if you enjoy creative writing, a journey is perfect. One day I want to write an ebook, so I'm working on that.

Drawing
I know for drawing makes me happy. I always enjoy seeing other people's work. It's very inspiring and it's great to put positive energy into an art piece.

Exercising
This is a great stress reliever and a way to live a healthier lifestyle.

Listening To Music
This is one of my favorite things to do to keep calm and relaxed. Enjoying some good upbeat music is one way to stay positive! Two of my favorite songs to listen to is Firework & Roar, by Katy Perry.
These songs are uplifting and very motivating for me.

Reading A Book
Sadly I really don't read books, unless we're talking about magazines! But seriously I really want to start getting into books, because they can be relaxing. I've seen a lot of books on staying motivated, so that's great.

Walking
Waking and listening to music is not only relaxing, but you feel happy and positive as well. Maybe that's just me. Well during the other seasons it's beautiful watching the flowers bloom or the colorful leaves  and the beautiful sunshine. Not so much for the winter.

I hope you enjoyed reading and let me know what things you like to do to stay positive!

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

My Top 5 Current Beauty Favorites!

I'm not one who has a lot of favorite products, but when I do it's worth sharing. Call me boring, but I'm someone who follows all the trends. Half of the time I don't even buy products that are "most known" or "popular". At the moment I have a handful of products I'm really loving. I'm a picky person when it comes to a lot of things, but these products are great to use. If you are on a budget these products are very affordable and they definitely don't disappoint!   Swissco Detangle Brush I love this detangler brush, it works great on my hair. Although I found this at Marshalls you can find online as well. Both prices are $6! That's very affordable in my opinion, compared to brushes that cost double. You can use this on wet and dry hair. I've tried both and it works very good. When it's time to twist or braid my hair I will use this brush. Most importantly I will use this brush before washing my hair and during th...

E.l.f. Eye Brushes

Although this haul is very small, I just wanted to share with you what I brought. I decided to buy brushes, because I needed them more! The first brushes I were eco-friendly and were really good, but their were more face brushes, then eye brushes. So that wasn't really helpful to me. It was only one eye shadow brush. I rarely shop online, I always go to the store. But I was bored one day and I guess this is what happened! I am really excited to try these brushes! I also brought some things from BH cosmetics, but that's for another post! Eye Shadow Brush The eye shadow brush is supposed to help apply the eye shadow evenly and make it easier. This sounds good, because the brushes I used in the past were tough and hard. It seemed like I had to put a lot of eye shadow on, before it actually showed up on my eyes. Blending Eye Brush This brush is supposed to blend the eye shadows, while softening dramatic edges and lines. This is really good, because before I h...
