5 ways to use Vaseline!

Vaseline is one product that can be used for a lot of things. I am sure the possibilities for Vaseline are endless, but here are my 5 ways to use this! It is said that Vaseline is not even a moisturizer, but I think otherwise and I am sure of you do as well. I mean why else would we use it? Why was it even created?

1. Lips
I use Vaseline all year long. But for the colder months a head Vaseline is your best friend. Having chapped lips during the cold seasons are not the best. Sometimes having chapped lips can even be painful, but don't worry because Vaseline helps with this problem. This keeps your lips moist.

2. Hair
Although it's said that Vaseline is good for keeping your hair moisturized, I have not tried this method before. But what I use this for is to tame the baby hairs. This works great! You can use a brush, to brush down the hairs. You can even use a toothbrush that was not being used, it may sound weird but apparently it works for people. Most of the time I use my fingers.

3. Feet
Vaseline is great to use for the bottoms of your feet. After you take a shower or bath, just rub the heels of your feet with Vaseline. You can lock in moisture by putting socks on. This will leave your feet feeling moist and hydrated, instead of dry and flaky!

4. Remove makeup
If you run out of makeup remover, have no fear Vaseline is here. This is a great substitution for the normal makeup remover. You can put the Vaseline on your fingers/ hands, q-tips, or tissues and then you rub where ever the place your makeup is on. Then after that you can continue your normal nighttime skincare routine.

5. Keep eyebrows in place
I have never used eyebrow gel. To be honest I didn't know that it even existed. But for those of you who use eyebrow gel, can use Vaseline as a substitute to keep those bad boys in place. I think it works great and your brows stay in place! You can either use a eyebrow spooley or your fingers.

I hope you enjoyed reading! What do you use Vaseline for?

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about. I was holding myself back because I put a label on myself, wanting to be known as a beauty blogger. Sure I attached the lifestyle part, but honestly I don’t really know what that means.  During this year I had time to reflect on where I wanted my blog to go and whether I even wanted to write anymore. Honestly the motivation to blog was not there at all and at that time, I really didn’t care if I continued. I did not want to look at my blog or deal with it. For me I was tired of putting in the work and not getting anything in return. Meaning no ...
