5 Lip Products For Fall!

I don't follow trends and if I do I'm the last one to jump on. But the dark lip trend is very popular so I thought it would be cool to share my favorite dark lip products for the season. But of course you don't have to wear a dark lip to get into the fall season. As I was swatching these colors I realized how similar they looked. I'm not sure if I would call them dupes, because you can tell the difference. I also got a lip pencil from Nicka K New York. I brought the lip pencil the same time I brought the lipshine from Nicka K. But it seemed to fit the fall lip trend.

The lip products I brought are from two different brands. The first brand is  Absolute New York, I've never heard of this brand before I purchased the Velvet Lippie products. The colors are Vampette and Wicked. As you can see in my lip swatch, these two colors are very similar to the ones from NYX Cosmetics. Both Velvet lip products do not dry but I still love them. I got these at a beauty supply store, I'm quite sure about the price. Now on the absolute New York site it's $5.99 but, I feel like it was less at the store. For the Wicked lippie, I had to reapply to get a darker look. But it could show up differently for you. Both Vampette and Wicked are next to each other in color (AVI 22 & 23).

The second brand is NYX Cosmetics. These colors are She Devil and Copenhagen! I brought Copenhagen because of Pinterest, yes I know I'm crazy. It was much cheaper on Amazon, I brought for under $4! This is my favorite one; I've been using this for months now. Copenhagen is a soft matte lip cream, therefore it dries. I actually like fact that it's matte, because it does not come off. But I do have to reapply it after a while. Now the "Simply Vamp" in She Devil is really pretty. I didn't think it would look right on me, but it suits me pretty well! This one is matte and it does come off but, not as much as I thought it would. I like the dark vampy look, it's gorgeous. Unlike the Copenhagen, I brought She Devil directly from NYX Cosmetics site. I believe the price was $5. Of course you can purchase both from their site, but I think it was sold out when I wanted to get it.

Last but not least my lip pencil from Nicka K (NK) comes in dark purple. I use this pencil to line my lips before applying She Devil and Wicked. It's very pigmented which is a plus from me.

If you want to know more about these lip products, I will leave the links down below!

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

My Top 5 Current Beauty Favorites!

I'm not one who has a lot of favorite products, but when I do it's worth sharing. Call me boring, but I'm someone who follows all the trends. Half of the time I don't even buy products that are "most known" or "popular". At the moment I have a handful of products I'm really loving. I'm a picky person when it comes to a lot of things, but these products are great to use. If you are on a budget these products are very affordable and they definitely don't disappoint!   Swissco Detangle Brush I love this detangler brush, it works great on my hair. Although I found this at Marshalls you can find online as well. Both prices are $6! That's very affordable in my opinion, compared to brushes that cost double. You can use this on wet and dry hair. I've tried both and it works very good. When it's time to twist or braid my hair I will use this brush. Most importantly I will use this brush before washing my hair and during th...

E.l.f. Eye Brushes

Although this haul is very small, I just wanted to share with you what I brought. I decided to buy brushes, because I needed them more! The first brushes I were eco-friendly and were really good, but their were more face brushes, then eye brushes. So that wasn't really helpful to me. It was only one eye shadow brush. I rarely shop online, I always go to the store. But I was bored one day and I guess this is what happened! I am really excited to try these brushes! I also brought some things from BH cosmetics, but that's for another post! Eye Shadow Brush The eye shadow brush is supposed to help apply the eye shadow evenly and make it easier. This sounds good, because the brushes I used in the past were tough and hard. It seemed like I had to put a lot of eye shadow on, before it actually showed up on my eyes. Blending Eye Brush This brush is supposed to blend the eye shadows, while softening dramatic edges and lines. This is really good, because before I h...
