BH Cosmetics Eye Essential 7 Piece Brush Set

Bh Cosmetics hit a home run for me! I don't really use makeup other than eye shadows, eyelid primer, eyeliner, and lip products. That's it and I'm cool with that. Sometimes I'm curious to try the face makeup, but it's really not my thing. So every time I go on a makeup website, I can't seem to find a brush set consisting only brushes for the eye. I could be wrong and maybe I was looking in the wrong place. But it wasn't until recently I saw Bh Cosmetics have the eye essential 7 piece brush set I jumped off the wall! This made me happy. But you know what made me excited? The fact that I brought them for only $6! They were on the site for $8, but with the discount code I received $2 off. Shipping was $3.95, so in total I spent $9.95 that was really good. That's one of the reasons I love BH Cosmetics because their very affordable compared to other brands.

Included in this set is a; Blending Brush, Large Shader Brush, Small Shader Brush, Angled Blending Brush, Pencil Brush, Fine Liner Brush, and Small Angled Brush. These are natural- hair and synthetic brushes. The bristles are very soft and are not rough on my eyelids, which is a plus! I have only used the first 4 brushes and I really like them. Both blending brushes smooth out the eye shadow and there's no harsh lines. Both shader brushes pack on pigment very good, but in my opinion I like to use the large brush for my entire lid. However if I want a certain amount of eye shadow to cover a small portion of the lid, I will go for the small brush. I will definitely update you, when I have tried the rest of the brushes. But so far from the ones I have tried, they are easy to hold and I get a good grip on them. Most importantly these are lightweight and I can easily carry them around in my bag. Another important fact is that these brushes are good quality and affordable at the same time. This is an important factor, because there are times where people think that affordable means cheap quality. That's not the case with these so I just wanted to put that out there.

If you have read my previous post, I actually did lip swatches. I didn't think I would ever do that, but one blogger really made me think about it. Not in a bad way either and besides I actually fun with it! I'm starting to get a little carried away. I'm bringing it back to BH Cosmetics! I'm going to be creating makeup looks for my blog, not full face because I don't wear foundation or anything like that. But I will definitely do eye makeup looks! I'm not a professional but it's really all about me coming out of my shell. I don't how many videos I've watched to help me properly put on eye shadow, but we'll see!

If you want to check out these brushes click the link below and I also think the price is $7.50 now!

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

My Top 5 Current Beauty Favorites!

I'm not one who has a lot of favorite products, but when I do it's worth sharing. Call me boring, but I'm someone who follows all the trends. Half of the time I don't even buy products that are "most known" or "popular". At the moment I have a handful of products I'm really loving. I'm a picky person when it comes to a lot of things, but these products are great to use. If you are on a budget these products are very affordable and they definitely don't disappoint!   Swissco Detangle Brush I love this detangler brush, it works great on my hair. Although I found this at Marshalls you can find online as well. Both prices are $6! That's very affordable in my opinion, compared to brushes that cost double. You can use this on wet and dry hair. I've tried both and it works very good. When it's time to twist or braid my hair I will use this brush. Most importantly I will use this brush before washing my hair and during th...

E.l.f. Eye Brushes

Although this haul is very small, I just wanted to share with you what I brought. I decided to buy brushes, because I needed them more! The first brushes I were eco-friendly and were really good, but their were more face brushes, then eye brushes. So that wasn't really helpful to me. It was only one eye shadow brush. I rarely shop online, I always go to the store. But I was bored one day and I guess this is what happened! I am really excited to try these brushes! I also brought some things from BH cosmetics, but that's for another post! Eye Shadow Brush The eye shadow brush is supposed to help apply the eye shadow evenly and make it easier. This sounds good, because the brushes I used in the past were tough and hard. It seemed like I had to put a lot of eye shadow on, before it actually showed up on my eyes. Blending Eye Brush This brush is supposed to blend the eye shadows, while softening dramatic edges and lines. This is really good, because before I h...
