Looking At Life Differently

So many things have happened and it's making me reflect on my life as a person. Although this world is filled with negativity and darkness, but there is a "light at the end of the tunnel". Life is so precious and should not be taken for granted. Instead of looking at the negative things in life, I should start appreciating the positive things more. I want to life to the fullest, enjoying my family and the friends I've made along the way. I guess this is me trying to look at the bigger picture. You know looking outside of the box and being more open minded to the new things. Well I struggle with this so it's going to take me some time to do this. But like I've said before, I'm a work in progress and I for one am not perfect.

I'm afraid of change and that's something I have to get use too. Life is constantly evolving whether I like it or not. So instead of fighting it I'm going to try and embrace it. I'm growing up and it's mind blowing to me, if I'm being honest. I remember being five years old again. Whether I like it or not I'm an adult no matter what. But there isn't really a guide to prepare you. Although you learn at a young age, whether it's at home or school, you don't have the slightest clue once you get out there. We all go through different experiences and challenges but, our hurt and pain are very similar. I'm on a journey of self discovery and it's been quite the experience. I've learned a lot, so I guess that's how being an adults works.

I'm starting to look at life differently because not all of is bad. Looking at life differently means opening up and letting go. Letting go of the negativity that's around and surrounding yourself with positive vibes. I've learned that you can't please everyone and someone will always have something to say. You can't worry about them. You can't change anyone else but yourself. Do what makes you happy and what puts a smile on your face. Whether you want to be a novelist, firefighter, chef, or whatever. Follow your dreams and surround yourself with supportive people! That's one of the most important things. I don't know where I'm going with this but, I feel better.

Life is something that should be cherished and appreciated!

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about. I was holding myself back because I put a label on myself, wanting to be known as a beauty blogger. Sure I attached the lifestyle part, but honestly I don’t really know what that means.  During this year I had time to reflect on where I wanted my blog to go and whether I even wanted to write anymore. Honestly the motivation to blog was not there at all and at that time, I really didn’t care if I continued. I did not want to look at my blog or deal with it. For me I was tired of putting in the work and not getting anything in return. Meaning no ...
