Blogging schedule?

I do not have a blogging schedule. I know that's bad, but I am not super organized in that department yet. So basically right now, it's all about what works for me, One of my goals were to put up a post everyday. That way I can start being more organized, and eventually set up a schedule that works for me. I am not good with keeping up. Let's just say I am way behind. I have failed, but posting everyday is hard.

I should not have made that kind of goal for myself, it would have been easier to start off with a smaller goal. For example, my goal should have been to post more than I did the previous month. Like I wrote in the beginning, it's all about what works for me, so I post on whatever day is available to me. The reason why I do not have a schedule is because, I have other things going on and making an exact schedule would not work out for me. I guess I could write posts and schedule them for a specific day. I have no idea what I should do.

A blog schedule works for a lot of people and that is great. I hope that it will work for me one day, but I do not think that day will be anytime soon. Unfortunately it's not working out, but I guess everyone is different. What may work for someone, may not work the same for you. I have come to realize that it takes time. Like this post I am not so organized at the moment. But I am only being honest about this.

Any advice for me? Do you have a blogging schedule?

  1. I'm starting a schedule for posts, they will be up Sunday, Wednesday and Friday now which means I can write them in advance which will be great for me and my readers :)

    1. That's great! I wish I could be organized like that and have a schedule, but right now I don't know. I am going to try though.

  2. I agree, it's hard to have a schedule but it works for some people. I try to have a post up every Sunday and i'm trying to blog twice a week but life just gets in the way sometimes. It is better to just blog whenever you can- after all it isnt a full time job-its a hobby.

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

Color Theory:8 Piece Ultimate Eyeliner Set

I love Eyeliner; eyeliner is my go to look. Anytime I had eyeliner my eyes would look like their dressed up! The only eyeliner I have ever wore up until this point was black; because that was the only color I thought was out (crazy of me right?!) Anyway lately I've seen many girls wear different color eyeliner, mainly on YouTube; so I knew immediately I would have to try it. After a while I forgot all about them, until Christmas of 2012 when I received them. I was so excited because my Mom didn't even know I wanted them; now that I am thinking I didn't even ask!  Now I can match up the colors with eyeshadow. Enough of that here's the box they came in and I have the colors listed below. On the back it just talks about the different styles you can do with the eyeliners. For example: The famous winged look (instructions for it are on the back).                                ...

Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about. I was holding myself back because I put a label on myself, wanting to be known as a beauty blogger. Sure I attached the lifestyle part, but honestly I don’t really know what that means.  During this year I had time to reflect on where I wanted my blog to go and whether I even wanted to write anymore. Honestly the motivation to blog was not there at all and at that time, I really didn’t care if I continued. I did not want to look at my blog or deal with it. For me I was tired of putting in the work and not getting anything in return. Meaning no ...
