Meet My August Advertiser: Ugne

During my time of blogging, I met lovely people who advertised my blog.  So for the month of August, I decided to try something new. To give back and share the love I decided to offer free advertising on my blog. During this month I got the chance to advertise three lovely bloggers. So here is one of my advertisers, Ugne! Ugne blogs over at Her Lovely Life , so be sure to check her out. She blogs about beauty, fashion, and lifestyle things. If you want to know more, keep reading!   1. How long have you been blogging? I’ve been blogging for only a short time. I started quite a few blogs when I was younger, but the thoughts and ideas never seemed to actually leave my mind and enter the pages. So, blogging consistently and with a goal of meeting new people and learning new things has only been a recent addition to my hobbies, but a great one. I started this blog a month or two ago, but it was quite a while in the making.   2. What inspired you to start a blog? I don’t reme

Change

It's always hard dealing with change, trust me I know. If you knew me, you would realize that it is hard for me to accept change. I like for things to stay the same, but I have come to realize that it's ok for life to evolve. Change is good if it's a positive one. My life is changing, the things I want to do are changing, and I am really excited. The word change still scares me though; although I feel differently now I feel a little scared inside. Maybe I'm scared of the changes around me. My personality has stayed the same, but maybe it wont fit with the change. Overall, good things can come from change.   I've learned that you can't let change stop you from going after a dream or a goal. There were a few opportunities I didn't take, because I was afraid of the possible change or affect it would have. Our world is constantly changing, people are changing and if these things are positive why should I be afraid. Part of life is about changing and t

Anjolee Jewelry Review

When it comes to jewelry, I'm a simple kind of girl. So when offered the opportunity to review a piece of jewelry from Anjolee, I was excited. Anjolee customizes jewelry to the fit their customers preferences. Their website sells high quality Diamond Jewelry . There are so many options you can choose from. On their site, they include earrings, rings, bracelets, and necklaces. When customizing the jewelry to your liking they have: the metal type, the carat weight, the diamond quality or your chose of a gemstone, and the item length. I think it's really nice that customers get to customize their own jewelry, it makes it more personal.   The bracelet is silver and it's made with high quality cz and topaz gemstones. For the purpose of this review only, I received this in cubic zirconia; this is because the diamond version is expensive. I received the bracelet within a week of shipping, which isn't bad at all. It came in a navy blue silk bag. When I first saw

Wednesday Blues

Feeling the blues on hump day? You're not the only one. I try to stay positive, but sometimes it feels like the walls are closing in. It's like you have so many things to do, but not enough time. It's so easy to loose confidence in yourself when things do not go as plan. Believe me I know, all I can say is keep trying. You're probably saying, "That's easier said, then done". I get it; I feel the exact same way, but having a negative vibe is not a good thing either. Having negative feelings can really crumble the whole day. For example, when I was in high school I would get up in a sad mood. That was the worst feeling ever. Everyday it was the same, instead of trying to find the good I was always thinking negative. Every morning I felt like I was closed in. The school work wasn't my problem, it was the people in it. I felt like no one liked me and my self-esteem was not great. I did have a few friends I talked to, but that wasn't enough. I felt

Freeman Facial Masks

For a couple of months, I've been into face masks. They leave my skin feeling great. At Walmart they have samples of these masks and I definitely took advantage of this. Mainly because this gives me an opportunity to try the mask out, before purchasing the full size. These sample packets only cost about $1.37. I only got these, because they seemed the most interesting. These masks are also good for all skin types! Another important thing about these masks is that, it is not tested on animals an does not include parabens. I do not know much about parabens, except that they can cause irritation to the skin.   The Pomegranate peel-off mask refines and purifies the skin. It gently purges dirt and excess oils from the skin, for a cleaner refined surface. As an 8 antioxidant infused with: Acai, Goji, Mango, Mangosteen, Cranberry, Noni, Pomegranate, and Blueberry. These guard the skin, against free radicals and environmental stress. It says that this package contains up to, 2 t

It's That Time of the Month!

All of us girls know about that "Time of the Month" phase. Dealing with cramps, headaches, toothaches, and feeling bloated. Maybe it's just me but these are all of the things I deal with before the time of the month. These are my "warning signs". Even worse let's not forget about: pimples, blemishes, or whatever you want to call it. During this time I feel disgusting and it's annoying. But that's what girls through. If guys only knew right! When the time of the month comes, it's rough in the first couple of days for me. It's hard to get out of bed and I don't like feeling cold. But it's not all bad, I have cravings when the time comes. I guess that is my excuse because,  I LOVE CHOCOLATE! Through the years I've learned some ways to help sooth cramps, while having your period. So I am going to share them with you.   These are ways I help lessen the pain. 1. Eating saltine cracker. I know what you're thinking
