There is someone out there for you, don't worry.
- Do you really want to make the mistake of saying this. I mean your friend could already feel like no one is interested. There is nothing wrong with reassuring them that they are a great catch. However do not make them feel like it could possibly take years of waiting for someone.
When are you going to settle down?
- I am sure when they find a potential husband, unless you have already found someone for them. Not everyone can be successful at finding someone on eHarmony or Match.com. Actually it's hard to meet someone on a regular basis. Things take time such as. finding someone who wants to settle down as well.
Aren't you tired of being single?
How does it feel to be single? I haven't been single in a longtime,
so I forgot what single life feels like.

-Are you serious? This is one question you should definitely not ask, even if you're thinking about it. Do you actually think they want to be alone on another Valentines Day for the fourth consecutive year. Maybe they don't want to be single, it's hard to find a descent guy these days. Just because your prince is here, theirs could just be running a little late.

-Seriously? This is probably not the best thing to say, especially if your friend is actually looking for Mr. Right at this very moment. To them being single is probably what they did not expect to still be. Sometimes you have to be careful of what you say. Honestly this is really an unnecessary question to ask, unless your friend just got over a breakup and is happy being single.
Since you're probably not doing anything fun, can you watch snickers and Mr. whiskers (pets). The hubby and I are going away for the weekend?
- Just because your friend is single, does not mean that there at home sitting on the couch eating a big bowl of ice cream; watching sad love stories. Although that is absolutely ok with me! But seriously they could be clubbing it up at a party until 2am. It's possible that they're having more fun then you are.
*This post was really fun to write. I was a little skeptical about writing it at first, but it's only my opinion. Questions/ Statements like these usually happens between the "married friend" and the "single friend". Have you ever been on either side of this situation before?
