Rimmel London lipstick: Kate Moss!

One thing I am sure, is not being a lipstick person. It's not that I do not like the colors or the lipstick itself, I just do not think I look right with it on. I see a lot of videos and blogs talking about different lipsticks and I'm like those colors are gorgeous. But it probably will not look the same on me. About two weeks ago I went to Walmart, I wanted to get new nail polish but I ended up getting lipstick. Like I said before I do not wear lipstick, I wear lipgloss or chapstick. So anyways I was in the lipstick section for a while. They had so many pretty colors and I chose red. I guess I chose this color, because its very popular!

This is a Rimmel London lipstick created by Kate Moss. This is the first time I have tried their products and I must say I am impressed! This is the 1st lipstick collection created by her and it's exciting. Kate Moss is a fashion model icon, so this inspired me to get the lipstick. The Lasting Finish collection comes in 9 different shades. This lipstick is supposed to last up to 8hrs., which sounds good. This is a matte lipstick and it costs about $5. This is a gorgeous red and it is very pigmented which is very good, because it will show up on the lips immediately. This is a bold color. It's the pop of color that makes a statement. As for a makeup look I would for a more settled, only if you want the lipstick to be the star! I have tried this lipstick on and it a very pretty color, but because I am a first time lipstick wearer it is going to take some time to get use to it.

I hope you enjoyed reading! What lipsticks/brands do you like and/or recommend?

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

My Top 5 Current Beauty Favorites!

I'm not one who has a lot of favorite products, but when I do it's worth sharing. Call me boring, but I'm someone who follows all the trends. Half of the time I don't even buy products that are "most known" or "popular". At the moment I have a handful of products I'm really loving. I'm a picky person when it comes to a lot of things, but these products are great to use. If you are on a budget these products are very affordable and they definitely don't disappoint!   Swissco Detangle Brush I love this detangler brush, it works great on my hair. Although I found this at Marshalls you can find online as well. Both prices are $6! That's very affordable in my opinion, compared to brushes that cost double. You can use this on wet and dry hair. I've tried both and it works very good. When it's time to twist or braid my hair I will use this brush. Most importantly I will use this brush before washing my hair and during th...

E.l.f. Eye Brushes

Although this haul is very small, I just wanted to share with you what I brought. I decided to buy brushes, because I needed them more! The first brushes I were eco-friendly and were really good, but their were more face brushes, then eye brushes. So that wasn't really helpful to me. It was only one eye shadow brush. I rarely shop online, I always go to the store. But I was bored one day and I guess this is what happened! I am really excited to try these brushes! I also brought some things from BH cosmetics, but that's for another post! Eye Shadow Brush The eye shadow brush is supposed to help apply the eye shadow evenly and make it easier. This sounds good, because the brushes I used in the past were tough and hard. It seemed like I had to put a lot of eye shadow on, before it actually showed up on my eyes. Blending Eye Brush This brush is supposed to blend the eye shadows, while softening dramatic edges and lines. This is really good, because before I h...
