Meet My October Advertiser: Zeynab

I love doing blogger interviews, it gives people the chance to get to know bloggers on another level. About three months ago, I decided to offer advertising for other bloggers and incorporate my blogger interview series. So with that being said meet my advertiser Zeynab from The Beauty Load. She blogs about beauty and lifestyle related topics. She has great tips on her blog, that you can learn from. If you want to know more about her and her lovely blog, keep reading!

1. How long have you been blogging?
I have been blogging for just over a year now.

2. What inspired you to start a blog?
I can't remember exactly how I stumble across the blogging world, but I remember the every first blog I discovered was Song of Style and thinking this was very cool. Then I came across the beauty blogging world and I have never looked back.

3. What goals do you have for yourself and your blog?
Wow I haven't really thought about this slot but I definitely want to improve my blog and make my blog an experience (I don't know what I mean but you get it right?) and be able to give more to my readers.

4. Where do you see your blog in the next year?
Hopefully I will be able to continue blogging and producing more creative and informative posts.

5. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I just to be successful and happy with whatever career path I have chosen whether that is blogging or my psychology career. I would love for my blog to become super successful and be able to do really cool things with it.

6. What have you learned since you started blogging?
I have learnt so much since I have started blogging, I never thought it would be this hard. My blogging has pretty much taken over my life and it consumes my thoughts all the time. It's scary and exciting at the same time. So much effort goes into continuously keeping your blog active and I appreciate the work bloggers do.

7. What are the positives and negatives of blogging?
Definitely the positives is meeting some many people from all over the world, who share a common interest. Also the opportunity to do cool things with brands you love is definitely a positive. The negatives, for me it would be the guilt that consumes when I don't have a post ready and it has definitely brought out the perfectionist in me and I have very high standards so I spend a lot of time on my blog. I hope that comes across.

8. Would you want to turn this hobby into a career in the future?
I would love to turn my blog into a career, fingers crossed that happens but I also love that it's just a hobby and an creative outlet cos my job is kinda serious.

9. Are you influenced by other bloggers?
I think everyone is influenced by others in there community, some bloggers are just amazing and their blogs are like wow !

10. Has blogging changed you? (Have you made any friends or experienced new things)
I have made so many great friends because of the blogging connection and I have been to loads of great events.

E.l.f. Eye Brushes

Although this haul is very small, I just wanted to share with you what I brought. I decided to buy brushes, because I needed them more! The first brushes I were eco-friendly and were really good, but their were more face brushes, then eye brushes. So that wasn't really helpful to me. It was only one eye shadow brush. I rarely shop online, I always go to the store. But I was bored one day and I guess this is what happened! I am really excited to try these brushes! I also brought some things from BH cosmetics, but that's for another post! Eye Shadow Brush The eye shadow brush is supposed to help apply the eye shadow evenly and make it easier. This sounds good, because the brushes I used in the past were tough and hard. It seemed like I had to put a lot of eye shadow on, before it actually showed up on my eyes. Blending Eye Brush This brush is supposed to blend the eye shadows, while softening dramatic edges and lines. This is really good, because before I h...

BH Cosmetics Eyebrow Tweezer

Going to get your brows waxed costs money, so with that being said I rather do my own. Although I am not a professional I think I can manage. I do not wax my eyebrows. To be honest I have never waxed or tried to wax my brows. If you're like me in the department of not waxing, you find other ways to style (fix) your brows. For me I have only tried two products; one will be in this post and the other is linked here: Brow kit !     I have learned to love my brows just the way they are. But they do deserve to pampered at the same time. If I have a few eyebrow hairs that do not belong, I want something quick and easy to fix this. That is why I have my bh cosmetics eyebrow tweezer. I have written a few posts on bh cosmetics products, but I am not affiliated with them in any way. I just simply love their products because its still high quality products, but at a cheaper price. This is great because not everyone wants to spend a lot or are maybe on a bu...

Self Love Is So Important!

Has there ever been a time where you felt unworthy? Unworthy of someone loving and caring for you. Have you ever disliked yourself so much, to the point where you would go into a dark place? I ask these questions not to necessarily get an answer back, but to let you know this happens to a lot of people. Self love is so important and everyone should feel good about themselves. Unfortunately in today's world that isn't the case at all. Society puts a label on what people should and should not look that. People judge one another 24 hours, 7 days a week and it's wrong. I've wanted to write this for a while now, but sometimes it's difficult. You don't want to offend anyone, but you also want to bring awareness to this topic. I'm not an expert on how to love yourself, but I do know what it's like to not have confidence. I know what it feels like to not think you're good enough, even when people tell you that you are.    I use to think I was I wa...
