Who would've thought food wasn't just for eating. Over the past couple of years I have found new ways to use the foods that I eat. If you do not like using products for your skin or your hair, don't worry I got you! If you're into natural ingredients I have a few alternatives for you.
Lemons
This is great way to lighten those darken elbows or underarms. I was kind of shocked when I saw it actually works. If you want to use the lemon as a scrub, just add regular sugar to it. I wouldn't use that as a facial though because regular sugar is hard, so that would probably be painful. If you don't want to use lemons, I hear potatoes are a great substitute!
Eggs
Eggs are protein and it's a good source of nutrients. Not only that but it's great for the skin and hair. You can make a face mask or a hair mask. I don't really know which one is more gross, but they will get the job done!
Bananas
If you prefer not to use eggs, I wouldn't blame you. As a substitute you can use Bananas! I don't know about using them for your hair, but their great for you skin. You can definitely use Bananas for another face mask ingredient! You're will have a soft feeling and look very hydrated.
Cucumbers
If you experience puffy eyes, cucumbers are here to assist you. I hear people saying this really works. Well, this is what I think. While cucumbers do soothe your eyes and minimize the puffiness, it doesn't completely go away. The rest is up to you! You need to get a good nights sleep.
Mayonnaise
I love mayonnaise on my sandwich not my hair. Because of the fat and protein mayo has its good for helping your hair become or stay healthy. It's also know to make your hair shiny.
I hope you found these hacks helpful! If you already use these hacks or have some of your own. let me know.
Thanks for sharing. Keep it up!
