5 Things I learned in High School

1. Not everyone liked me
I was the kind of person who wanted to be liked. I mean I'm a nice, so why wouldn't anyone like me. I was completely clueless. You don't have to do anything wrong, there are just people that do not like you. As I got older I accepted that and I'm fine.
2. Everyone was not my friend
When I was a kid I thought everyone was my friend, until I entered middle school. From there it pretty much went left in high school. I went from believing I had "a lot" of friends to not having nothing, but a handful. I was confused about this, but I learned my lesson.
3. Losing friends isn't bad
When entering high I didn't think I would loose friends. Let's just say I was naive. But I guess that's because I would make better friends in the long run. I accepted the fact that I lost them. But for awhile I didnt understand why. I was the type of friend that was there. But I guess they didn't feel the same. You know high school is so different. People start to change and they leave you behind.
4. People will talk
This goes hand and hand with, not everyone will like you. There doesn't have to be a reason for someone to talk about you. You know the word "rumors". People make up lies to hurt other people. It's a verbal part of bullying.
5. My self esteem wasn't as good
As soon as I became a freshman in high school the confidence I thought I had, disappeared into thin air. It was a rude awakening for me. When I say confidence, I don't mean being "self absorbed". This was a different ball game  and I didn't feel in control. I started to feel about myself. I didn't like myself anymore and I felt no one would.

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

My Top 5 Current Beauty Favorites!

I'm not one who has a lot of favorite products, but when I do it's worth sharing. Call me boring, but I'm someone who follows all the trends. Half of the time I don't even buy products that are "most known" or "popular". At the moment I have a handful of products I'm really loving. I'm a picky person when it comes to a lot of things, but these products are great to use. If you are on a budget these products are very affordable and they definitely don't disappoint!   Swissco Detangle Brush I love this detangler brush, it works great on my hair. Although I found this at Marshalls you can find online as well. Both prices are $6! That's very affordable in my opinion, compared to brushes that cost double. You can use this on wet and dry hair. I've tried both and it works very good. When it's time to twist or braid my hair I will use this brush. Most importantly I will use this brush before washing my hair and during th...

E.l.f. Eye Brushes

Although this haul is very small, I just wanted to share with you what I brought. I decided to buy brushes, because I needed them more! The first brushes I were eco-friendly and were really good, but their were more face brushes, then eye brushes. So that wasn't really helpful to me. It was only one eye shadow brush. I rarely shop online, I always go to the store. But I was bored one day and I guess this is what happened! I am really excited to try these brushes! I also brought some things from BH cosmetics, but that's for another post! Eye Shadow Brush The eye shadow brush is supposed to help apply the eye shadow evenly and make it easier. This sounds good, because the brushes I used in the past were tough and hard. It seemed like I had to put a lot of eye shadow on, before it actually showed up on my eyes. Blending Eye Brush This brush is supposed to blend the eye shadows, while softening dramatic edges and lines. This is really good, because before I h...
