Happy New Year 2019!

For the last few years I have stopped making new year’s resolution. In my opinion it never works out, well at least for me. You make so many plans but they don’t last. So I started saying I just want to be the best version of myself. I also decided to write down goals I want to accomplish. This is something I did not think I would ever say. Making lists hasn’t really helped me in the past, but last November for the holidays it actually worked out. On a serious note, I’ve grown so much this past year and I’m ready for this fresh start.

Last year really kicked my but and although I remained positive about things, some days it was harder. I learned that having a positive attitude and mindset can really set the tone for situations. If this post does not make sense I apologize in advance. I have so many things to say or I guess in this case write, but I don’t really know where to start. This post might be all over the place, but these are my raw thoughts and I don’t plan on editing them.

As a blogger whether I post consistently or a few times out of the year, I put my all into writing. However for the past couple of years, I will admit the love and passion for blogging disappeared. I thought I had to confine myself to writing about one or two topics. But that is not me, I have so many interests. One of my goals is to blog full time. I’m starting to invest in my blog, because it is something I have been consistent with. It’s helped my confidence level and each year I make improvements on it. I am also working on my photos, this is one of my proudest moments as a blogger. My photos have improved so much throughout the years, but this year I’m taking it to another level.

I have learned from the past and realized a lot and this year is going to be a great one. There are so many things I have in store and I can’t wait to accomplish them. I also added some categories last year that I’m going to start doing. I will be writing about shows and movies I enjoy watching. I will share recipes of my own and ones I find on Pinterest. I will continue my beauty and lifestyle topics and I am going to expand on those.

I am very optimistic and my outlook has changed so much over the last couple of years. I’m going to take more risk and step out of my comfort zone. Not completely out but, you know baby steps! I hope this year brings you all joy, happiness, good health, success, love and so much positive energy. Sometimes seeing someone else being positive motivates others. So in my next post I will talk about a few people that are great for sharing positive energy.

Happy New Year everyone and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about. I was holding myself back because I put a label on myself, wanting to be known as a beauty blogger. Sure I attached the lifestyle part, but honestly I don’t really know what that means.  During this year I had time to reflect on where I wanted my blog to go and whether I even wanted to write anymore. Honestly the motivation to blog was not there at all and at that time, I really didn’t care if I continued. I did not want to look at my blog or deal with it. For me I was tired of putting in the work and not getting anything in return. Meaning no one was r

E.l.f. Eye Brushes

Although this haul is very small, I just wanted to share with you what I brought. I decided to buy brushes, because I needed them more! The first brushes I were eco-friendly and were really good, but their were more face brushes, then eye brushes. So that wasn't really helpful to me. It was only one eye shadow brush. I rarely shop online, I always go to the store. But I was bored one day and I guess this is what happened! I am really excited to try these brushes! I also brought some things from BH cosmetics, but that's for another post! Eye Shadow Brush The eye shadow brush is supposed to help apply the eye shadow evenly and make it easier. This sounds good, because the brushes I used in the past were tough and hard. It seemed like I had to put a lot of eye shadow on, before it actually showed up on my eyes. Blending Eye Brush This brush is supposed to blend the eye shadows, while softening dramatic edges and lines. This is really good, because before I ha
