Mayonnaise is good for your hair?

Have you ever heard anyone saying mayonnaise is good for your hair? For the past couple of years that is all I have heard. So I did some research for myself and was surprised to see all of the articles on mayonnaise as a hair treatment. These articles say that mayonnaise leaves your hair shinny and soft. Mayonnaise is often treated as a conditioner. Mayonnaise can also be a moisturizer for dry hair and because of the protein and fat in the mayonnaise, it keeps your hair: healthy, shiny, hydrated, and improves the texture to. I have not had the chance to try this and I do not think I will. The main reason is because of the smell, we all know how mayonnaise smell(not that great). Did anyone else try this?

Are there any other  interesting hair trends or treatments out there?

These are the links of the articles I have found about mayonnaise:

  2. I knew that mayo was good for your hair, not only is it good for all of those things, but it's also good for killing lice. I had it done on my hair when I was in elementary school when that bloody junk was going around and it kills them nice. So that's a good fact for anyone with Children :)

    1. Really! I didn't know that, I know that recently there have been children in schools who have lice. So this is great for parents to know.

  3. Everyone used mayo as a hair conditioner when I was in high school. I only tried it a couple of times, because I don't like the smell. I don't like mayo, so the smell is overwhelming for me. I would imagine that its moisturizing capabilities come from the oil that it contains.

  7. I apply mayo about once a month. I lightly dampen my hair by combing with a wet comb. On goes the mayo - over the hair length, not the scalp. Cover with a shower cap and towel. I sit for about an hour, sometimes even two. Then I rinse it out with a gentle sulphate-free shampoo. Super-soft hair for me :)

  8. A very significant reason why it is necessary to oil your scalp frequently while it is in a weave is to promote growth by improving circulation to the scalp.

My Thoughts While Watching Makeup Tutorials!

I love watching makeup tutorials so much that, three hours have literally passed. I remember watching my first ever makeup tutorial. It was from Dulce Candy and I was thinking wow if only I was that talented. The title of her video is called "Makeup For Beginners"! Now lets be honest I am not a makeup artist nor do I have the talented of creating nice makeup looks. I don't even where makeup except the basics. So I decided to share with you the things I think about, while watching YouTube videos and looking at makeup pictures. You will probably be surprised and hopefully you'll have a little laugh. If not then I really made a fool out of myself with this one! I actually laugh at myself for this, which means I'm probably weird now! Anyway, here's my thoughts while watching makeup tutorials. "That Highlight Though." "Wing On Point." "Girl you better work it, wing on fleek. Is that word still in?" "I Wish I Could P...

Self Love Is So Important!

Has there ever been a time where you felt unworthy? Unworthy of someone loving and caring for you. Have you ever disliked yourself so much, to the point where you would go into a dark place? I ask these questions not to necessarily get an answer back, but to let you know this happens to a lot of people. Self love is so important and everyone should feel good about themselves. Unfortunately in today's world that isn't the case at all. Society puts a label on what people should and should not look that. People judge one another 24 hours, 7 days a week and it's wrong. I've wanted to write this for a while now, but sometimes it's difficult. You don't want to offend anyone, but you also want to bring awareness to this topic. I'm not an expert on how to love yourself, but I do know what it's like to not have confidence. I know what it feels like to not think you're good enough, even when people tell you that you are.    I use to think I was I wa...
