My Elf Powder Brush

  • This brush can be used with wet or dry products.
  • You can use this with powder or blush.
  • This is also perfect for contouring.

-Directions: Dip brush in powder and tap off excess powder before use.

-Care Instructions: Clean this brush regularly with the Elf brush cleanser and shampoo. This helps maintain color application. Then reshape your brush and let dry. If you do not have the cleanser and shampoo, it's ok. I do not have the cleaner and the shampoo, so I use warm water and my regular shampoo to clean. For me it works fine.

I love this brush because it feels so soft against my skin, a lot of brushes are usually hard and rough and leaves your skin irritated. This is very good when blending your powder or blush and as mentioned in the beginning, this also works with wet products. As for contouring using this brush gives you a natural look.

I hope you enjoyed reading about the Elf Powder Brush! Have you tried this before?

  2. Totally agree that this brush is a decent one to check out~ especially for the price that it is offered at. I think I got mine when they were having a sale, so it was even cheaper. Anyway for a starter set definitely a +1 :)

Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about. I was holding myself back because I put a label on myself, wanting to be known as a beauty blogger. Sure I attached the lifestyle part, but honestly I don’t really know what that means.  During this year I had time to reflect on where I wanted my blog to go and whether I even wanted to write anymore. Honestly the motivation to blog was not there at all and at that time, I really didn’t care if I continued. I did not want to look at my blog or deal with it. For me I was tired of putting in the work and not getting anything in return. Meaning no one was r

E.l.f. Eye Brushes

Although this haul is very small, I just wanted to share with you what I brought. I decided to buy brushes, because I needed them more! The first brushes I were eco-friendly and were really good, but their were more face brushes, then eye brushes. So that wasn't really helpful to me. It was only one eye shadow brush. I rarely shop online, I always go to the store. But I was bored one day and I guess this is what happened! I am really excited to try these brushes! I also brought some things from BH cosmetics, but that's for another post! Eye Shadow Brush The eye shadow brush is supposed to help apply the eye shadow evenly and make it easier. This sounds good, because the brushes I used in the past were tough and hard. It seemed like I had to put a lot of eye shadow on, before it actually showed up on my eyes. Blending Eye Brush This brush is supposed to blend the eye shadows, while softening dramatic edges and lines. This is really good, because before I ha
