5 Tips for Healthy Hair!

1. Stop using sulfate Shampoos and Conditioners.
- Sulfates are not good for your hair. They strip your hair of its natural oils and then it becomes dry and brittle. There's plenty of sulfate free shampoos and conditioners. So you do not have to worry about dropping your favorite brands. One brand that definitely has sulfate free stuff is L'Oreal!

2. This tip has two parts!
  • Wash your hair with warm water/ rinse with cold.
-While washing your hair, use warm water not hot. Using hot warm can be damaging and unhealthy for your hair. It causes split ends and on top of that makes your hair very frizzy. No one likes frizzy hair, especially me. When rinsing your hair for the final time, use cold water. This will lock in the moisture.

3.  Moisturize.
-Moisturizing your hair is very important. This is to ensure that your hair doesn't become dry and break off. Oils and leave in creams will definitely do the trick, you just have to fine what works for you! Some good moisturizers are:

4. Biotin.
-Biotin works very well for your skin and your nails. But importantly it works great for you hair. If you do not want to take the vitamins, there are plenty of foods that have biotin. For example,
cheese, eggs, whole grains, fish (ex: salmon), and nuts (ex: almonds).

5. Drink Plenty of water!
-Drinking water is an important factor in staying healthy in general. But it's also important for your hair. Water stimulates hair growth. You drink water and you wash your hair with water, so water is important!

E.l.f. Eye Brushes

Although this haul is very small, I just wanted to share with you what I brought. I decided to buy brushes, because I needed them more! The first brushes I were eco-friendly and were really good, but their were more face brushes, then eye brushes. So that wasn't really helpful to me. It was only one eye shadow brush. I rarely shop online, I always go to the store. But I was bored one day and I guess this is what happened! I am really excited to try these brushes! I also brought some things from BH cosmetics, but that's for another post! Eye Shadow Brush The eye shadow brush is supposed to help apply the eye shadow evenly and make it easier. This sounds good, because the brushes I used in the past were tough and hard. It seemed like I had to put a lot of eye shadow on, before it actually showed up on my eyes. Blending Eye Brush This brush is supposed to blend the eye shadows, while softening dramatic edges and lines. This is really good, because before I h...

BH Cosmetics Eyebrow Tweezer

Going to get your brows waxed costs money, so with that being said I rather do my own. Although I am not a professional I think I can manage. I do not wax my eyebrows. To be honest I have never waxed or tried to wax my brows. If you're like me in the department of not waxing, you find other ways to style (fix) your brows. For me I have only tried two products; one will be in this post and the other is linked here: Brow kit !     I have learned to love my brows just the way they are. But they do deserve to pampered at the same time. If I have a few eyebrow hairs that do not belong, I want something quick and easy to fix this. That is why I have my bh cosmetics eyebrow tweezer. I have written a few posts on bh cosmetics products, but I am not affiliated with them in any way. I just simply love their products because its still high quality products, but at a cheaper price. This is great because not everyone wants to spend a lot or are maybe on a bu...

Is there a guide to blogging?

It's been 3 months since I started blogging and I already have 57 followers and I am so grateful and thankful. In a million years I would have never imagined being a blogger. But sometimes I do not feel like one. I mean I know being a successful and known blogger doesn't happen overnight, but sometimes I get discouraged. I have always been someone who is cautious and worries about what people think, so sometimes I feel no one will like what I post. I also feel like, because I am not a well known blogger no one will take the time and give me a chance. I am just being myself, is there something wrong with that? So I started feeling lost and I didn't know what to do; then I thought "Is there a guide to blogging?". Not only did I have these thoughts, but I was also thinking that there are so many wonderful bloggers (beauty, fashion, and lifestyle), so who would even notice my blog. So is there a book to teach people how to blog or am I just overreacting? Sometim...
