Spaghetti w/ Ground Turkey Recipe

I've been enjoying my creativity when it comes to cooking. I have a few recipe posts on here, but only one of them I made with my own recipe. If you want to checkout my barbecue sauce click here: My Barbecue Sauce Recipe! So this time I will share with you my spaghetti with ground turkey recipe. It's very simple and only needs a few ingredients. You are more than welcome to adjust or change the ingredients and measurements. Most of the time I don't measure I just eyeball it, but I wanted to share with you so I made it into a recipe!

I used 1 tomato paste with no salt and the other one with salt. The other paste is flavored with roasted garlic. Sauce works fine with this, I just didn't have any. I also used Muller's spaghetti, just because. But you can use another spaghetti or pasta. I do not use this meat sauce just for spaghetti. Also this is good with ground beef as well or sausage. The only thing I would add is the onion and the pepper. The sausage already has enough flavor, at least for me.

Serving Size:  6
Prep time: 10 min.
Cook time: 1 hr.
Let meat sauce cool: 10 min.

Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. of Olive Oil
1 lb of Ground Turkey
1/2 of Onion, chopped
1 tsp. of Onion Powder
1 tsp. of Black Pepper
2 small cans of Tomato Paste
1 to 2 cups of Water
1 box of Spaghetti

Directions:
1. Put on the water for the spaghetti.
2. Turn the stove on medium heat and add the oil to the pan. When it seems like the oil is hot, add the ground turkey. Cook the ground turkey for 10 minutes. Then you add the chopped onions to the pot with the ground turkey and cook them together for about 6 minutes or until both ingredients cook down. After add the onion powder and the black pepper and stir for about 2 minutes.
3. Then you want to add the tomato paste and stir it in for about 1 minute. Then you add 1 to 2 cups of water and stir it all together (If you want, you do not have to stir in the paste until after you add the water). After that you want to cover the pot, lower the heat, and let it cook for 40 minutes (stir every 8 to 10 minutes). While the meat sauce is cooking check the water for the spaghetti.
4. The water should be at a boil (if not wait till it gets there). Then add your spaghetti and cook it according to the directions on the box. The spaghetti should be done before the sauce, so while your waiting drain your spaghetti. You can put your spaghetti back into the same pot.
5. When your sauce is ready cut the stove off and let the sauce cool for about 10 minutes. Don't worry it will still be hot. After the 10 minutes mix the meat sauce into the spaghetti.

Side Note:
If you want to be fancy, sprinkle some parsley into the spaghetti. Even better, if you don't want the parsley stir in some basil to the meat sauce while it's cooling down.

E.l.f. Eye Brushes

Although this haul is very small, I just wanted to share with you what I brought. I decided to buy brushes, because I needed them more! The first brushes I were eco-friendly and were really good, but their were more face brushes, then eye brushes. So that wasn't really helpful to me. It was only one eye shadow brush. I rarely shop online, I always go to the store. But I was bored one day and I guess this is what happened! I am really excited to try these brushes! I also brought some things from BH cosmetics, but that's for another post! Eye Shadow Brush The eye shadow brush is supposed to help apply the eye shadow evenly and make it easier. This sounds good, because the brushes I used in the past were tough and hard. It seemed like I had to put a lot of eye shadow on, before it actually showed up on my eyes. Blending Eye Brush This brush is supposed to blend the eye shadows, while softening dramatic edges and lines. This is really good, because before I h...

Self Love Is So Important!

Has there ever been a time where you felt unworthy? Unworthy of someone loving and caring for you. Have you ever disliked yourself so much, to the point where you would go into a dark place? I ask these questions not to necessarily get an answer back, but to let you know this happens to a lot of people. Self love is so important and everyone should feel good about themselves. Unfortunately in today's world that isn't the case at all. Society puts a label on what people should and should not look that. People judge one another 24 hours, 7 days a week and it's wrong. I've wanted to write this for a while now, but sometimes it's difficult. You don't want to offend anyone, but you also want to bring awareness to this topic. I'm not an expert on how to love yourself, but I do know what it's like to not have confidence. I know what it feels like to not think you're good enough, even when people tell you that you are.    I use to think I was I wa...

BH Cosmetics Eyebrow Tweezer

Going to get your brows waxed costs money, so with that being said I rather do my own. Although I am not a professional I think I can manage. I do not wax my eyebrows. To be honest I have never waxed or tried to wax my brows. If you're like me in the department of not waxing, you find other ways to style (fix) your brows. For me I have only tried two products; one will be in this post and the other is linked here: Brow kit !     I have learned to love my brows just the way they are. But they do deserve to pampered at the same time. If I have a few eyebrow hairs that do not belong, I want something quick and easy to fix this. That is why I have my bh cosmetics eyebrow tweezer. I have written a few posts on bh cosmetics products, but I am not affiliated with them in any way. I just simply love their products because its still high quality products, but at a cheaper price. This is great because not everyone wants to spend a lot or are maybe on a bu...
