Life Update: Moving, Self- Discovery, & Freelancing

During the month of September a lot has been going on for me. I haven't really blogged, expect for helping promote giveaways. In August I wrote a post about change and I talked about a huge change I was facing in my life. With that being said, I've moved. I still live in the same city, but it's farther away from my old home. I felt a lot of emotions; I was sad, happy, and when moving day finally happened, reality set in for me. I cried. I've live in that house since I was seven years old, so many memories I have. Sixteen years worth of memories and it hit me all at once. Don't get me wrong I'm excited that I am starting fresh, but it takes time. I've only been here for about two weeks, but I'm fine now. While packing and moving I decided to re-evaluate my life. I am on a journey of self- discovery, which is normal. This move has motivated me to have a positive outlook on life and I'm so grateful.

Over the past couple of months, while packing up and moving I decided what I wanted to be. If you know me from my blog or twitter, you would realize that I'm a dreamer. I have so many dreams that I want to accomplish. So I decided to get out of my comfort zone and I am now a freelancer. This isn't a random thing that I decided overnight, I've been thinking about this for a while. I love blogging, writing posts made me realize that I want to add freelancing to my list of things I want to do. I didn't think I would ever go this direction in my life, but life is all about experiencing new things. I also want to create my own nail polish line and eventually write a book. There are so many things that I've learned about myself during this move. I know I'm probably all over the place, but this year has taught me a lot.

As far as my blog goes, in October I will start posting regularly again. I have so many blog post ideas and I can't wait to start working on them. I want my blog to be a serious hobby for me and maybe even a part time job later on. If you stopped by my blog before, you will have noticed that during this year I have changed my blog design about five times. I am an indecisive person, so it was frustrating to me when I didn't like my design after a few weeks. But I finally purchased this new design and I really love it! I have so many goals for my blog. I want my readers, which are you guys to feel comfortable reading my blog as if we're having a real conversation or just hanging out! I can't wait to start posting again.

Thanks for reading my blog and I hope you enjoyed this post!

E.l.f. Eye Brushes

Although this haul is very small, I just wanted to share with you what I brought. I decided to buy brushes, because I needed them more! The first brushes I were eco-friendly and were really good, but their were more face brushes, then eye brushes. So that wasn't really helpful to me. It was only one eye shadow brush. I rarely shop online, I always go to the store. But I was bored one day and I guess this is what happened! I am really excited to try these brushes! I also brought some things from BH cosmetics, but that's for another post! Eye Shadow Brush The eye shadow brush is supposed to help apply the eye shadow evenly and make it easier. This sounds good, because the brushes I used in the past were tough and hard. It seemed like I had to put a lot of eye shadow on, before it actually showed up on my eyes. Blending Eye Brush This brush is supposed to blend the eye shadows, while softening dramatic edges and lines. This is really good, because before I h...

BH Cosmetics Eyebrow Tweezer

Going to get your brows waxed costs money, so with that being said I rather do my own. Although I am not a professional I think I can manage. I do not wax my eyebrows. To be honest I have never waxed or tried to wax my brows. If you're like me in the department of not waxing, you find other ways to style (fix) your brows. For me I have only tried two products; one will be in this post and the other is linked here: Brow kit !     I have learned to love my brows just the way they are. But they do deserve to pampered at the same time. If I have a few eyebrow hairs that do not belong, I want something quick and easy to fix this. That is why I have my bh cosmetics eyebrow tweezer. I have written a few posts on bh cosmetics products, but I am not affiliated with them in any way. I just simply love their products because its still high quality products, but at a cheaper price. This is great because not everyone wants to spend a lot or are maybe on a bu...

Is there a guide to blogging?

It's been 3 months since I started blogging and I already have 57 followers and I am so grateful and thankful. In a million years I would have never imagined being a blogger. But sometimes I do not feel like one. I mean I know being a successful and known blogger doesn't happen overnight, but sometimes I get discouraged. I have always been someone who is cautious and worries about what people think, so sometimes I feel no one will like what I post. I also feel like, because I am not a well known blogger no one will take the time and give me a chance. I am just being myself, is there something wrong with that? So I started feeling lost and I didn't know what to do; then I thought "Is there a guide to blogging?". Not only did I have these thoughts, but I was also thinking that there are so many wonderful bloggers (beauty, fashion, and lifestyle), so who would even notice my blog. So is there a book to teach people how to blog or am I just overreacting? Sometim...
