Blogmas Day 7: Holiday Baking!

I don't know about you but the smell of baked goods is everything! The way I said that in my head sounded a lot better, almost as if I was in a commercial. I love the holidays because it gives everyone an excuse to eat! Over the past few years I have taken an interest in baking, it really is soothing. My favorite dessert to make is White Chocolate Blondies! These are so delicious and very easy to make. When making recipes created by other people on the internet, I only go to one person. I'm pretty sure you've heard of Laura Vitale, right? Well this is her recipe and you can never go wrong with that. If by chance you're not familiar with her,  just know I am very disappointed! But I will give you a quick summary of who she is.

Laura Vitale is the host of the YouTube channel "Laura In The Kitchen" , which is very popular and she has a show called "Simply Laura" on the cooking channel! I've been watching her since the beginning and her recipes are awesome. So a few days ago I made her White Chocolate Blondies recipe. I've made it a few times before, but this one seems to be my favorite! It's perfect for the holidays, although you can make it at anytime. It's simple, but delicious and you won't be disappointed.

Her passion for food is inspiring and has helped me enjoy cooking with my mom and sister! I've created my own recipes and I've made dishes inspired by her recipes. On her YouTube channel she has recipes for days. Especially ones for the holidays, so if you're stuck and have no clue what to make and it's at the last minute, watch her videos. She has a variety of deserts and recipes specifically for the holidays. If you want to check out her other variations of the blondie recipe, check out the direct links to her website below!

E.l.f. Eye Brushes

Although this haul is very small, I just wanted to share with you what I brought. I decided to buy brushes, because I needed them more! The first brushes I were eco-friendly and were really good, but their were more face brushes, then eye brushes. So that wasn't really helpful to me. It was only one eye shadow brush. I rarely shop online, I always go to the store. But I was bored one day and I guess this is what happened! I am really excited to try these brushes! I also brought some things from BH cosmetics, but that's for another post! Eye Shadow Brush The eye shadow brush is supposed to help apply the eye shadow evenly and make it easier. This sounds good, because the brushes I used in the past were tough and hard. It seemed like I had to put a lot of eye shadow on, before it actually showed up on my eyes. Blending Eye Brush This brush is supposed to blend the eye shadows, while softening dramatic edges and lines. This is really good, because before I h...

BH Cosmetics Eyebrow Tweezer

Going to get your brows waxed costs money, so with that being said I rather do my own. Although I am not a professional I think I can manage. I do not wax my eyebrows. To be honest I have never waxed or tried to wax my brows. If you're like me in the department of not waxing, you find other ways to style (fix) your brows. For me I have only tried two products; one will be in this post and the other is linked here: Brow kit !     I have learned to love my brows just the way they are. But they do deserve to pampered at the same time. If I have a few eyebrow hairs that do not belong, I want something quick and easy to fix this. That is why I have my bh cosmetics eyebrow tweezer. I have written a few posts on bh cosmetics products, but I am not affiliated with them in any way. I just simply love their products because its still high quality products, but at a cheaper price. This is great because not everyone wants to spend a lot or are maybe on a bu...

Is there a guide to blogging?

It's been 3 months since I started blogging and I already have 57 followers and I am so grateful and thankful. In a million years I would have never imagined being a blogger. But sometimes I do not feel like one. I mean I know being a successful and known blogger doesn't happen overnight, but sometimes I get discouraged. I have always been someone who is cautious and worries about what people think, so sometimes I feel no one will like what I post. I also feel like, because I am not a well known blogger no one will take the time and give me a chance. I am just being myself, is there something wrong with that? So I started feeling lost and I didn't know what to do; then I thought "Is there a guide to blogging?". Not only did I have these thoughts, but I was also thinking that there are so many wonderful bloggers (beauty, fashion, and lifestyle), so who would even notice my blog. So is there a book to teach people how to blog or am I just overreacting? Sometim...
