Revlon Essentials Volume Booster Styler!

When it comes to hair dryers I haven't had the best of luck in the past. The dryer either broke as soon as I bought it or made my hair frizzier. I instantly gave up on finding a dryer that would suit all of my hair needs. With the increase in price for hair dryers you have to decide whether you spend a lot of money or continue air drying! But I guess you pay the price for beauty.

Winter was right around the corner so I knew I needed to find a dryer fast, unless I wanted to catch a cold from wet hair. One day while in Walmart my mission was to find a decent, affordable dryer. In the back of my mind I didn’t think this was possible, especially after I looked in the dryer section for 10 minutes. The prices went from $20 to $50 and I was not sure about the brands either. I’ve always used the brand Conair for my hair tools, not for any specific reason though. But I realized I should step out of my comfort zone and try something new, that’s when I found the Revlon Essentials Volume Booster Styler for only $15.94 at Walmart. Have you ever heard of the saying quality over quantity? I’ll admit there’s some truth to it. But this dryer was different and I really wanted to try it out.

To my surprise this dryer was everything I wanted. Nothing is perfect but this hair dryer came close. This dryer brings volume to your hair, especially if you are someone who has flat hair. Most importantly this dryer reduces frizz and gives your hair a shiny look, which is definitely a plus for me! Another thing I like about this product is the setting options, including low and high or cool, warm and hot. Overall this dryer is really good!

Thank you for reading my post! What hair tools do you use and recommend?

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

Is there a guide to blogging?

It's been 3 months since I started blogging and I already have 57 followers and I am so grateful and thankful. In a million years I would have never imagined being a blogger. But sometimes I do not feel like one. I mean I know being a successful and known blogger doesn't happen overnight, but sometimes I get discouraged. I have always been someone who is cautious and worries about what people think, so sometimes I feel no one will like what I post. I also feel like, because I am not a well known blogger no one will take the time and give me a chance. I am just being myself, is there something wrong with that? So I started feeling lost and I didn't know what to do; then I thought "Is there a guide to blogging?". Not only did I have these thoughts, but I was also thinking that there are so many wonderful bloggers (beauty, fashion, and lifestyle), so who would even notice my blog. So is there a book to teach people how to blog or am I just overreacting? Sometim...

Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about. I was holding myself back because I put a label on myself, wanting to be known as a beauty blogger. Sure I attached the lifestyle part, but honestly I don’t really know what that means.  During this year I had time to reflect on where I wanted my blog to go and whether I even wanted to write anymore. Honestly the motivation to blog was not there at all and at that time, I really didn’t care if I continued. I did not want to look at my blog or deal with it. For me I was tired of putting in the work and not getting anything in return. Meaning no ...
