Blogger Interview #1: Jemma

Every since I started blogging, I've met a lot of bloggers. There are so many wonderful blogs out, but with this big blogging community not a lot of people know some blogs exist. So I have decided to start a series on my blog called Blogger Interviews. I will be interviewing bloggers who inspire me, who are new to blogging, and just because I think this will be a fun experience!
So here's my first interview. I think this one is perfect to start off my series! Jemma blogs at dorkface.co.uk She is one of my favorite bloggers out here. Not only is she a great blogger, but she is a nice person as well. So keep reading, if you want to know a little more about her!

1. How long have you been blogging?

Just over 1 year, I started March 2014 :)

I spent my time reading so many and I finally decided to start one and stick to it; Which I'm so glad I did!

3. What goals do you have for yourself and your blog?

I'd like my blog to help me grow in terms of my career. I'd like to be self employed through working in social media, selling my artwork, and running my blog :)

Hopefully it will have continued to grow, maybe even reached 3000 followers?! Who knows. I'd love it if my blog is was an inspiring place for people to visit.

Maybe moved to another city, or country! I'd like to buy a home and be married to my boyfriend, who I live with. I'd like to have finished writing my book, and working for myself. But I definitely still see me being creative :)

6. What have you learned since you started blogging?

To be yourself! Everyone's quirks and unique traits are very welcomed in the blogging world, and it makes you more relatable! Also never underestimate the power of helping someone and being nice - it could make a huge difference.

7. What are the positives and negatives of blogging?

Positives - Staying creative, finding purpose, making new friends, discovering a whole community, going to events, inspiring others.
Negatives- ... Hmm.. Keeping up sometimes is hard. You have to stay on track I think.

8. Would you want to turn this hobby into a career in the future?

I'm already in the process! :)

9. Are you influenced by other bloggers?

Of course! There's a whole world of people out there and bloggers help me get to know different races, ages, genders, cultures and hobbies! It opens my eyes and always inspires me :)

10. Has blogging changed you? (Have you made any friends or experienced new things)

Definitely! I am SO different to who I was just over a year ago. I am so much more positive, determined and brave! I've made close blogging friends, I've changed my career and I've found my purpose. I am so much happier now, and a very positive person. I never used to be like this :)

E.l.f. Eye Brushes

Although this haul is very small, I just wanted to share with you what I brought. I decided to buy brushes, because I needed them more! The first brushes I were eco-friendly and were really good, but their were more face brushes, then eye brushes. So that wasn't really helpful to me. It was only one eye shadow brush. I rarely shop online, I always go to the store. But I was bored one day and I guess this is what happened! I am really excited to try these brushes! I also brought some things from BH cosmetics, but that's for another post! Eye Shadow Brush The eye shadow brush is supposed to help apply the eye shadow evenly and make it easier. This sounds good, because the brushes I used in the past were tough and hard. It seemed like I had to put a lot of eye shadow on, before it actually showed up on my eyes. Blending Eye Brush This brush is supposed to blend the eye shadows, while softening dramatic edges and lines. This is really good, because before I h...

Self Love Is So Important!

Has there ever been a time where you felt unworthy? Unworthy of someone loving and caring for you. Have you ever disliked yourself so much, to the point where you would go into a dark place? I ask these questions not to necessarily get an answer back, but to let you know this happens to a lot of people. Self love is so important and everyone should feel good about themselves. Unfortunately in today's world that isn't the case at all. Society puts a label on what people should and should not look that. People judge one another 24 hours, 7 days a week and it's wrong. I've wanted to write this for a while now, but sometimes it's difficult. You don't want to offend anyone, but you also want to bring awareness to this topic. I'm not an expert on how to love yourself, but I do know what it's like to not have confidence. I know what it feels like to not think you're good enough, even when people tell you that you are.    I use to think I was I wa...

BH Cosmetics Eyebrow Tweezer

Going to get your brows waxed costs money, so with that being said I rather do my own. Although I am not a professional I think I can manage. I do not wax my eyebrows. To be honest I have never waxed or tried to wax my brows. If you're like me in the department of not waxing, you find other ways to style (fix) your brows. For me I have only tried two products; one will be in this post and the other is linked here: Brow kit !     I have learned to love my brows just the way they are. But they do deserve to pampered at the same time. If I have a few eyebrow hairs that do not belong, I want something quick and easy to fix this. That is why I have my bh cosmetics eyebrow tweezer. I have written a few posts on bh cosmetics products, but I am not affiliated with them in any way. I just simply love their products because its still high quality products, but at a cheaper price. This is great because not everyone wants to spend a lot or are maybe on a bu...
