3 Skin Care Products You Should Try!

I am not the best when it comes to having a skin care routine. But I do love trying out different products and seeing what works for me. Most of the time, before I try out a product I always by the travel size bottle first. Usually these bottles are between a 1 to 3 dollars. I like buying the travel size first; because if I didn't like it, the money I spent wasn't a complete waste. I brought these products at Shoprite for under $5. Now I know what you're thinking, but Shoprite has a massive beauty section and a lot of the time the prices are affordable! The products I am sharing with are three of my favorites. I think you will love them too, after reading what I think about them.

Olay Body Wash
I've become a big fan of body wash. My skin feels nice and has a nice glow to it. The Olay body wash has an ultra moisture that penetrates the surface of the skin's layer. This body wash contains Shea butter, known to be great for soft skin! I like how my skin doesn't look dry and cracked. I tend to have dry skin during the summer and winter. So this body wash is very helpful. I also use suave body washes, but I will share them with you on another day!

Jergens Moisturizer
During the winter my face tends to get dry, especially around my nose. So Jergens' moisturizer lotion is the best solution for that. This is an ultra healing lotion that, nourishes and heals extra dry skin. After using this your skin will feel and look more healthier. This includes vitamins C, E, and B5. This is a great combination. Vitamin C helps restore and repair the tissues in your body, Vitamin E is great for healthier skin, and Vitamin B5 is to help your skin look youthful/ healthier. This really helps my skin. I am definitely buying the full size, because my skin feels very moisturized and rejuvenated.

St. Ives Facial Scrub
I love facial scrubs; My face always feels refreshed and hydrated. This fresh skin Apricot scrub deeply cleanses and exfoliates leaving your skin feeling smooth. One of the best things about this product, is the fact that it's sulfate free. Sulfates are harsh. For example, I do not use sulfate shampoo because it strips the hair of its natural oils. I can only assume that sulfate in products for the skin, leave you with dull and dry looking skin. This also oil free and contains 100% natural exfoliants, which sounds great to me. I really like this product, although it comes second to the clean & clear morning burst facial scrub!

I hope you enjoyed reading, What are some of your favorite skincare products?

  1. I swear by the St Ives facial scrub. Sometimes the regular one is way too harsh around my mouth and nose area so I use both the regular one and the gentle one. I also love my Freeman's Oatmeal & Avocado Clay Mask!

  4. Living with a mental CBD for anxiety and depression challenge and living with someone with a mental health challenge can be stressful at best. I have had both experiences, having had an alcoholic father and brother. Life was hellish, to say the least.

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

Is there a guide to blogging?

It's been 3 months since I started blogging and I already have 57 followers and I am so grateful and thankful. In a million years I would have never imagined being a blogger. But sometimes I do not feel like one. I mean I know being a successful and known blogger doesn't happen overnight, but sometimes I get discouraged. I have always been someone who is cautious and worries about what people think, so sometimes I feel no one will like what I post. I also feel like, because I am not a well known blogger no one will take the time and give me a chance. I am just being myself, is there something wrong with that? So I started feeling lost and I didn't know what to do; then I thought "Is there a guide to blogging?". Not only did I have these thoughts, but I was also thinking that there are so many wonderful bloggers (beauty, fashion, and lifestyle), so who would even notice my blog. So is there a book to teach people how to blog or am I just overreacting? Sometim...

Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about. I was holding myself back because I put a label on myself, wanting to be known as a beauty blogger. Sure I attached the lifestyle part, but honestly I don’t really know what that means.  During this year I had time to reflect on where I wanted my blog to go and whether I even wanted to write anymore. Honestly the motivation to blog was not there at all and at that time, I really didn’t care if I continued. I did not want to look at my blog or deal with it. For me I was tired of putting in the work and not getting anything in return. Meaning no ...
