Shea Moisture: Jamaican Black Castor Oil Line


Shea Moisture was the first hair care line I tried when I went natural. It’s the one I always come back to. There are other products I like to use, but this brand is by far my favorite one.  I’ve heard that you are suppose to switch up  products because your hair get use to them. If you don’t know how to tell look at your results. If your hair does not look like it usually does than you may need to find new products. 

I really don’t mind changing up products, but lately I want to stay with the same brand. Shea Moisture gives me the results that I want. Luckily they have one than one hair care line so I don’t have to go outside of the brand. It’s also cool to mix and match the products to. What really matters is finding the products that work well for you. 

With this particular line I have always wanted to try them. Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil my newest products to try. I have tried their Deep Masque treatment before and really liked it! This time around I didn’t get every single product in the line, I only bought the ones I wanted to try at this very moment. So I have the strengthen & restore shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner. The one complaint I have is the ratio between the shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo is a little bigger than the conditioner bottle and if you’re like me or most natural hair girls we need a lot of conditioner. 

One of the things I love about Shea Moisture is how their products are sulfate free and color safe. These products intensely smooths and nourishes natural, chemically processed or heat styled hair. Most importantly, these products have no parabens, mineral oil, propylene glycol, phthalates, petrolatum and does not test on animals. 

So if you have decided to go natural, I definitely recommend using any line in this brand for your transition. Ingredients included are Shea Butter, Peppermint & Apple Cider Vinegar. I am not a fan of Apple Cider Vinegar, it’s just too strong for me. But one you keep using it, the smell is quite pleasant especially since it’s mixed with other things like peppermint.

This shampoo removes buildup, while nourishing and hydrating your hair. It does not matter whether you color, straighten, perm or heat style your hair, as well as kinky, curly, and wavy natural hair styles. The Jamaican Castor Oil and Organic Shea Butter helps to promote growth by, nourishing and strengthening damaged or chemically processed hair. This reduces breakage and shedding. The Peppermint Oil helps stimulate the scalp.

This strengthening conditioner detangles and restores moisture without weighing the hair down. The Jamaican Black Castor Oil and Organic Shea Butter nourishes the scalp and strengthens damaged, brittle hair while helping to reduce breakage and shedding. Leaving your hair shiny and rejuvenated. Also included is Vitamin E, which is great for the hair and skin!

This leave-in softens and detangles hair while controlling frizz. The Jamaican Black Castor Oil and Organic Shea Butter nourishes, moisturize and support elasticity so hair resists breakage when detangling. Conditioners provide a protective layer that improves the appearance of split ends.

    These look very nice. That's odd that the shampoo is bigger. But I'd still love to try the line. I've got my eye on the leave-in!

Self Love Is So Important!

  Has there ever been a time where you felt unworthy? Unworthy of someone loving and caring for you. Have you ever disliked yourself so much, to the point where you would go into a dark place? I ask these questions not to necessarily get an answer back, but to let you know this happens to a lot of people. Self love is so important and everyone should feel good about themselves. BH Cosmetics Eyebrow Tweezer

  Going to get your brows waxed costs money, so with that being said I rather do my own. Although I am not a professional I think I can manage. I do not wax my eyebrows. To be honest I have never waxed or tried to wax my brows. If you're like me in the department of not waxing, you find other ways to style (fix) your brows.
