Thursday Thoughts

I'm not an expert on happiness or how to live a stress free life. But I can only pass on words of wisdom and encouragement. When you're at your lowest don't think for once, that's it. Things will get better, you just have to believe in yourself when no one else will. You're probably saying, why is she talking about this. My answer would be, because sometimes there is someone in the world that needs motivation. Sometimes people need a friend or shoulder to cry on. That's why it is good to have family and friends that love and support you! It's good to be around positive energy. There are so many times we doubt ourselves and the good things we can accomplish. I said we because I feel the same way sometimes. If you're not feeling down but you know someone who is, be there for them. Listen to them and the things they tell you. You never know, you just might be their light in this darkness.

I think as I get older I'm becoming more wiser. I'm only twenty four but I've learned a lot about life so far and I am starting to see things differently. Besides Friday is almost here and for some it might be here already. The weekend should be relaxing and I hope you find some time to enjoy. This year is starting to go by so fast. So live life to the fullest and enjoy it with the people who love and care for you, just as much as you do for them! Life is too short for negativity, trust me. Just to let you know I'm not trying to tell you how to live your life, you're in control of it. I just simply want to let you know that, you're not alone despite how you may feel. There is someone going through the same thing, whether they live in another country, on the opposite side of the country, in the same state, town, or neighborhood.

If your Thursday did not go as planned, tomorrow is a new day and a new chance to do things right. If life is overwhelming just take some deep breaths. I understand how stressful life can get, there isn't really a specific way to be stress free but you find something that helps you relax! I hope you found this helpful. If you want to share how you're feeling let me know!

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

Is there a guide to blogging?

It's been 3 months since I started blogging and I already have 57 followers and I am so grateful and thankful. In a million years I would have never imagined being a blogger. But sometimes I do not feel like one. I mean I know being a successful and known blogger doesn't happen overnight, but sometimes I get discouraged. I have always been someone who is cautious and worries about what people think, so sometimes I feel no one will like what I post. I also feel like, because I am not a well known blogger no one will take the time and give me a chance. I am just being myself, is there something wrong with that? So I started feeling lost and I didn't know what to do; then I thought "Is there a guide to blogging?". Not only did I have these thoughts, but I was also thinking that there are so many wonderful bloggers (beauty, fashion, and lifestyle), so who would even notice my blog. So is there a book to teach people how to blog or am I just overreacting? Sometim...

Finding My Passion For Blogging Again

At some point in time, when your heart isn’t into something you should take a break. Blogging is great and I couldn’t see myself without it. However sometimes it can get overwhelming and that’s what happened to me this year. For about eight months I have not blogged and I thought I was a bad person for that. I have realized that it was best to take the long break. In doing so, I have found so many things I love to talk about. I was holding myself back because I put a label on myself, wanting to be known as a beauty blogger. Sure I attached the lifestyle part, but honestly I don’t really know what that means.  During this year I had time to reflect on where I wanted my blog to go and whether I even wanted to write anymore. Honestly the motivation to blog was not there at all and at that time, I really didn’t care if I continued. I did not want to look at my blog or deal with it. For me I was tired of putting in the work and not getting anything in return. Meaning no ...
