Beauty Hacks You Should Follow!

Beauty hacks come in handy, it's like a two for one deal. You learn something new and you save money. It seems like everything is expensive these days, but with beauty hacks you can use what you have at home. I've been using these hacks for a long and they are super helpful. If you don't have these things on hand don't worry, buying them at the store is affordable!

Vaseline
Use Vaseline to keep your eyebrows in place. Trust me this really works. This may sound weird but it's very convenient, I mean who doesn't have Vaseline on hand! For a softer heel put Vaseline on and then your sock on before bedtime. You can also do this the same day you're going out, just make sure it's a few hours before.

Olive Oil
Use olive oil if you ran out of makeup remover (wipes). Olive oil is a natural ingredient and it's soft on the skin. If by chance you do not own Vaseline, olive oil is a great may to make sure you feet and heel are moisturized.

Q-Tips
Use a q-tip for hard to reach areas, if you mess up on your makeup. For example, if you messed up on your winged eyeliner put some olive oil or whatever liquid remover you have and wipe it away.

Lemon
If your underarm is darker use lemon to lighten it. You can either use slices of the lemon or make a lemon body scrub.

Exfoliate/Scrub
Sometimes buying a lip exfoliate can be expensive, so making one would be a great idea! Here's a DIY I made a while back DIY Exfoliator.

I hope you enjoyed these beauty hacks and if you have any to share let me know!

Helpful Posts/Sites For Bloggers

Being a blogger is not easy at all, whether it's a hobby or a job. Every blogger works so hard to put out quality work. But sometimes it can be a struggle. While in a blogging rut I came across a lot of posts that have helped me gain confidence. These posts also helped me realize my creativity; all I needed to do was use my noggin! But before you click on the links below, I'm going to explain what these links mean to me. I don't want to bore you but I'm hoping these will help you too.   Everytime I get into a blogging rut I always look at my blog design. Thinking that the design I have is always the problem, I go and I spend money to change it. In reality the major problem was myself. Now don't get me wrong, designs I've had were beautiful it just wasn't for me. During my long "break" or breakdown I did a lot of searching. I'm pretty sure you all heard of Etsy, am I right? This is where I found two shops that have helped me tremendous...

My Top 5 Current Beauty Favorites!

I'm not one who has a lot of favorite products, but when I do it's worth sharing. Call me boring, but I'm someone who follows all the trends. Half of the time I don't even buy products that are "most known" or "popular". At the moment I have a handful of products I'm really loving. I'm a picky person when it comes to a lot of things, but these products are great to use. If you are on a budget these products are very affordable and they definitely don't disappoint!   Swissco Detangle Brush I love this detangler brush, it works great on my hair. Although I found this at Marshalls you can find online as well. Both prices are $6! That's very affordable in my opinion, compared to brushes that cost double. You can use this on wet and dry hair. I've tried both and it works very good. When it's time to twist or braid my hair I will use this brush. Most importantly I will use this brush before washing my hair and during th...

E.l.f. Eye Brushes

Although this haul is very small, I just wanted to share with you what I brought. I decided to buy brushes, because I needed them more! The first brushes I were eco-friendly and were really good, but their were more face brushes, then eye brushes. So that wasn't really helpful to me. It was only one eye shadow brush. I rarely shop online, I always go to the store. But I was bored one day and I guess this is what happened! I am really excited to try these brushes! I also brought some things from BH cosmetics, but that's for another post! Eye Shadow Brush The eye shadow brush is supposed to help apply the eye shadow evenly and make it easier. This sounds good, because the brushes I used in the past were tough and hard. It seemed like I had to put a lot of eye shadow on, before it actually showed up on my eyes. Blending Eye Brush This brush is supposed to blend the eye shadows, while softening dramatic edges and lines. This is really good, because before I h...
