My Top 5 Current Beauty Favorites!

I'm not one who has a lot of favorite products, but when I do it's worth sharing. Call me boring, but I'm someone who follows all the trends. Half of the time I don't even buy products that are "most known" or "popular". At the moment I have a handful of products I'm really loving. I'm a picky person when it comes to a lot of things, but these products are great to use. If you are on a budget these products are very affordable and they definitely don't disappoint!

Swissco Detangle Brush
I love this detangler brush, it works great on my hair. Although I found this at Marshalls you can find online as well. Both prices are $6! That's very affordable in my opinion, compared to brushes that cost double. You can use this on wet and dry hair. I've tried both and it works very good. When it's time to twist or braid my hair I will use this brush. Most importantly I will use this brush before washing my hair and during the process of detangling in the shower.

Lipshine Lipgloss by Nicka (NK)
I don't really wear lipsticks or lip creams, but when I do it's because I have found my match! Now I would only wear clear lip products, because you can't go wrong with that. But over the past year I've decided to get out of my comfort zone. One of my favorites is the lipshine lipgloss in the color Matrix (A80).  This only cost $2 which is very affordable. When applied on my lips, it looks like a nude. I brought this at a beauty store, but you can find it online. I have more of these; so I'll be sure to share them soon, in a later post I will go in depth about these lipshine glosses. This is just the one I'm really loving at the moment.

EOS Hand Lotion-Cherry Blossom
The eos hand lotion is one of the best lotions. I've used their lip balm, so I'm not surprised this hand lotion is good. My hands stay soft and moisturized. I've been using this this for a few weeks now and I will definitely be buying another one! I brought this in the beauty section of Shoprite, but it's also in Walmart. The price was about $2, so that wasn't bad at all.

Suave Lotion for Dry Skin
If you're anything like me, then you experience dry skin during the warmer and colder months. The Suave lotion for dry skin, keeps my skin looking hydrated and feeling moisturized. I've been using this product for a while and my skin feels a lot better! I am unsure of the price, because I've been using this for so long but it's under $4 at Walmart!

Goody Mosaic Styler Brush
I love this brush, if only I could have found it sooner. I have thick and coarse curly hair. I have trouble putting it into a ponytail, which gets so annoying because I would spend a lot of time on it. This brush works really well on my hair. It keeps my hair tamed, but if I have to use products to help it stay in place. If I'm going to put my hair in a ponytail I will wet my hair and put some oil and gel to hold it. I brought this at The Walmart and I believe it was under $4. If you have baby hairs or fly aways this brush keeps them controlled!

I hope you enjoyed reading and if you have used these products before let me!

My Thoughts While Watching Makeup Tutorials!

I love watching makeup tutorials so much that, three hours have literally passed. I remember watching my first ever makeup tutorial. It was from Dulce Candy and I was thinking wow if only I was that talented. The title of her video is called "Makeup For Beginners"! Now lets be honest I am not a makeup artist nor do I have the talented of creating nice makeup looks. I don't even where makeup except the basics. So I decided to share with you the things I think about, while watching YouTube videos and looking at makeup pictures. You will probably be surprised and hopefully you'll have a little laugh. If not then I really made a fool out of myself with this one! I actually laugh at myself for this, which means I'm probably weird now! Anyway, here's my thoughts while watching makeup tutorials. "That Highlight Though." "Wing On Point." "Girl you better work it, wing on fleek. Is that word still in?" "I Wish I Could P...

Self Love Is So Important!

Has there ever been a time where you felt unworthy? Unworthy of someone loving and caring for you. Have you ever disliked yourself so much, to the point where you would go into a dark place? I ask these questions not to necessarily get an answer back, but to let you know this happens to a lot of people. Self love is so important and everyone should feel good about themselves. Unfortunately in today's world that isn't the case at all. Society puts a label on what people should and should not look that. People judge one another 24 hours, 7 days a week and it's wrong. I've wanted to write this for a while now, but sometimes it's difficult. You don't want to offend anyone, but you also want to bring awareness to this topic. I'm not an expert on how to love yourself, but I do know what it's like to not have confidence. I know what it feels like to not think you're good enough, even when people tell you that you are.    I use to think I was I wa...
